There is no reason to pay what Dyson wants for a replacement battery when this battery fits perfectly, charges quickly and has a terrific price.

Good Replacement Battery
So if your like me you don't want to over pay for something because of the name brand associated with it. My Dyson V10 battery was not lasting very long as they do depreciate over time and the amount of charges you performed.The Good:I found this replacement battery and it does the job it was intended to do. I average about 30-40 minutes on a full charge now. Installation is a breeze by unscrewing 3 screws (2 on the bottom and 1 above the charge port)The Bad:If you use a wall charger it is very tight sliding in and out compared to the factory battery.No installation directions included.I do recommend it though as it does hold a charge well and charges quickly as well.

Restored Functionality of MAX Suction!
Purchased this replacement battery for my Dyson V8 Absolute.The replacement battery arrived quickly. The battery was very easy to install using the included screwdriver tool (reused the screws from the original housing as the package was missing the 3 screws shown in the listing's photo). The cleaning tool & filters were a nice addition, too.After swapping out the batteries, I had no difficulties with the vacuum fitting on the existing charging base. Charged it up and tested it out.I was able to use the vacuum on the MAX suction setting for at least (if not more than) 5 minutes. Prior to installing this replacement battery, my Dyson V8's MAX suction had dwindled to where it would shut off after approx 15-18 seconds of use.I've only had it for a few days and will definitely update this review if anything changes in the battery's performance. In the meantime, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Battery doesn't last
No matter how long I keep it on the charger it's always at 1 bar out of 3. If it's left off the charger the battery will drain to nothing. It lasts just long enough to get my tiny kitchen done.
