Large Reflective Tie Out Cable

Great product. Don't let the thickness fool you. I bought the 60 pound cable tie out for a large tugging pup. Works great not much weight to it so training pup to being a cable as a tie out is going well. I was concern on kinks from wrapping around pole and tugging. So far it held up good.

I have bought this product before and it's very long lasting even though it stays outside in all sorts of weather. It's so lightweight and easy to connect to my dog's harness. It's well made and I will always use this brand.

Perfect for my 9 pound dog. It seems to be pretty adorable and the length is just perfect. It can’t get tangled at times so you have to pay attention.

I purchased this one year ago this month and it has been almost perfect and the best tie out I have tried. My 75lb German Shepherd loves the squirrels in the yard, who constantly harass her when she is outside, and will run full speed to the end of the line at least a couple of times before she notices there is an end of the line. This is a powerful dog and has easily snapped lesser tie outs. The only problem I have had is with the plastic that surrounds the cable and even that has been minor. Because she tangled the line around something one day, the cable bent sharply and rubbed against the object. The plastic broke where it rubbed, causing the cable to fray. This was months ago, and the cable is still solid, but is starting to fray a little more. With a less powerful dog, I would probably wrap it with tape and not be worried, but I will get another one of these to be safe. The cable is thick and not easily kinked. The clasp and hardware has been rock solid.

Works great for my dog on my camping trip. He has room to move around and I don’t have to worry about him running off after a rabbit.

We have used this for the last 6 months to tie our 100lb dog out on average maybe 40 minutes a day. I would say light use. I pulled the cable to unbuckle it to walk him out further and the cable just kept coming without the dog. The cable had frayed/rusted where it goes into the red part (opposite of the loop end). The buckle, cable loop and red part were still on his harness. I have never had to check this on other, smaller, tie outs that we owned longer, but wanted people to beware especially if your dog has crap recall like ours (hence the need for the tie out). Also, through no fault of the product, I was taking him out one night to potty and I was holding on to the buckle when he saw something around the corner and forgot him self for a minute and bolted after it pulling the buckle out of my hand, Its a big buckle and it chipped a few bones in a couple of my fingers. I always clipped a leash on the end to hold on to after that.

En lo que respecta al cable, es de muy buena calidad, mantiene a mis perros sujetos y aún no han logrado destruirlo (ya lo han hecho con otros cables), lo único que no me gusta, aunque no es exclusivo de esta marca, es que al ser un cable de acero es complicado desenrollarlo, una vez que se ha usado por primera vez se enrola en sí mismo y para volver a usarlo se debe hacer un esfuerzo adicional.

I purchased this lead a year ago but it snapped off at connector. I had to replace. Compared to others available it’s the best one for price and strength. I need to find out if there’s a warranty

Wow, I could not believe how this tie cable just lays straight and flat out of the box!! It is not like the other we had that resembles a slinky. I will buy another one for my other dog. My dogs are miniature Daschunds.

Works as it should. Good product no cracks or wear after six months of use
