Seven Soldiers Omnibus

The 2005/2006 Seven Soldiers metaseries is one of the most interesting experiments in comic storytelling I’ve ever read. It’s 30 issues total with 7 series of 4 issues each and 2 framing issues. This is a new interpretation of the Golden Age Seven Soldiers of Victory with the only overlapping character being the Shining Knight, although the character has been entirely reinterpreted. Each series focuses on one member of the new Seven Soldiers and although they are battling the same enemy, the members have little to no interaction and aren’t even aware of the other's existence. This really is Grant Morrison at his creative best.
