I use it in a circular cold smoke generator. It does take a bit for the sawdust to catch AND maintain its burn, but once it does, it’s all good. This is my go to cold smoking product!!

### ⭐⭐⭐ Doesn't stay lit in cold smoke applications

This wood has a great flavor. I ordered Oak and got genuine oak chips. However even I thoroughly dry the shavings in the microwave, leave the large 3 slot vent on the bottom of my Webber wide open and keep the top vent open they NEVER stay smoking. I even tried putting a fan directly below it to see if that would work. I have no trouble keeping pellets going in cold smokes this way, and other dust I have used also works. I suppose these could work in a hot smoking application where you had a direct heat source under them at all times. They would probly burn quick though.
