My cheese grater is 100 % what I wanted ,and I am so glad for it. First there was problem with cleaning it then I found out how I could take it apart to clean it......I hope it vas supposed to been taken apart....ups, well I could put it togeather again and it works so everything is fine . The only problem is it is so nice and easy to use it , that I eat to much cheese now.....hihihih. Hi from DK.

I bought the more expensive metal cheese grater because my previous plastic one broke after a few years. This one broke after 2 months! It wasn't assembled properly when I first got it but I managed to re-assemble it and make it work ok. But after about 3 more uses it didn't grate any parmigiano cheese, then jammed as I squeezed harder and finally the crank broke off knocking my glass of red wine all over the table cloth and my trousers. I had to throw it in the bin, but I'm now out of pocket 3 times what I paid for it because of the damages.

Bought this product to replace my old plastic one. It looked good and solid but is hard to turn when grating hard cheese. and a pig to clean

This looks like a really good grater but there is no information about dismantling the grater. The instructions just say remove handle but not how to remove it. I finally deduced you pull the handle up and off but when you have a new gadget it would be good to have a video explaining how in detail

Does the job and does it well; reminds me of when I used to run a restaurant! Easy to clean, just slip the sliding grip off and give it a scrub. Also has a non-spill cap for transporting and storing. EDIT: 4 years this thing lasted me. First the metal pull tab on the front broke off after about 2 years (it's barely secured) then the grater dulled. Keeping 5 stars up however as I used it at least twice a week since purchase.

I bought two of these, one to replace the excellent similar grater I had bought over 20 years ago at a market in Tuscany, and one as a gift, as I think this is a super style of grater. I immediately noticed that there was a small gap either side between the sides and the container for the barrel. Other customers seemed to think it would not be an issue. I wish I had returned them both. Unfortunately, when grating, the cheese is not contained in the covered container, but some falls out, as I thought it would. Not an issue if you are grating straight on top of a dish with the cover opened, as you will not notice what comes from the container and what falls out of the side. However, it is not ideal when you are grating some to keep in the device and use later. Also, when you store the device, you have to be careful to empty out the sides, otherwise you will leave a trail of cheese...

Hi this is a good grater but a nightmare to clean as it does not come completely apart and I have spent an hour trying to clean and still need to put back in dishwasher , description that it comes apart for easy cleaning is false as it does not. Overall I would stay well away from this item as it far too time consuming to clean after each use . I think I am going to have to give it one more try and if the same nightmare to clean will send it for recycling- total waste of money so steer well clear folks Update - black top fell off grater mill the 2nd time I put in dishwasher so enough is enough - it’s gone to recycling, let’s hope somebody else gets better use of the rubbish it’s made of.

Replacement for old plastic model. This one much more robust and works a treat

Die Parmesan-Mühle aus Edelstahl ist Perfekt zur Anwendung am Tisch. Ihre Eleganz ist ein Hingucker auf dem Tisch. Edel in der Ausführung und, selbst beim ältesten Parmesan, leicht in der Handhabung. Nichts verbiegt sich beim Käse mahlen. Die äußerst stabile Kurbel verleiht der Mühle eine stets sichere und einfache Verwendung. Auch die Reinigung stellt kg ein Problem dar. Mit nur ein wenig Druck lässt sich die Kurbel von der Walze trennen welche dann ungehindert dem Gehäuse zu entnehmen ist. Die Reinigung im Geschirrspüler ist kein Problem. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Pallida imitazione della grattugia che usavo da piccolo dai nonni. Fisando della forma e del fatto che fosse in metallo speravo in un prodotto di qualità simile o superiore. Lo spazio fra il rullo grattugia e il retro è troppo ampio, si accumulano pezzi di formaggio ed è difficile utilizzarli. Il sistema di smontaggio è barbaro, più la si smonta per pulirla e più la parte superiore diviene cedibile. Il rullo è assemblato su pezzi di plastica, con l'uso il rullo si stacca dal supporto in plastica, zpnel mio caso nella parte superiore. Cercherò di renderla anche se passati i 30g, l'avrò usata 10 volte mentre confidavo nella grattugia definitiva.

solide en metal , pas en plastique qui brise après quelques utisations .

Pour les amoureux du parmesan, une râpe parfaite. Facile et très utile afin de conserver le parmesan, je la met quand même dans un sac isotherme pour la ranger dans le frigo s'il y a encore du fromage à l'intérieur.
