Great plates of perfect size to help with my Barbell as they come in a pair. These plates are perfect for me as I accidently bought a 17.5kg barbell and these two plates help round it up to 20kg.

Exactly what we needed

The plates aren't too bad they do the job but the finishing on them is really rough to the touch. When putting on the bar they can catch so be careful when putting them on.

Fine but flush edges make it hard to get off a bar.

I'm not a serious weightlifter, I just try and do a regular daily session at home to keep in a relatively decent shape. Previously I've used weights with a thick rubberised outside which inside consist of who-knows-what. My current set are starting to make a noise like maracas when I do reps, so I'm guessing internally they're some form of cement compound which is now coming apart.These weights are a distinct step up from that. What you get is exactly what's advertised. Proper iron weights. I'd imagine these would last for years. To damage them you'd likely have to deliberately attempt to damage them. So if you're after some weights of real quality for home working out, you really can't go wrong with these.I would though say read the seller's description carefullyy as some may be confused by the wording of the listing. At first glance it's easy to get the impression that a complete set is for sale, but from this seller (the Fashion Thirsty Store) it was just 2 x the 1.25KG plates. And one final positive in the seller's favour, they came incredibly well packaged!So all things considered, I'd rate these as a 5 star product.
