Here’s what I did: 1) I used a drill on “hammer setting” and a 3/16” masonry bit to drill a hole a few inches from the edge of asphalt. 2) I used a hammer to hammer the reflector like a nail an inch into the driveway. 3) repeated along the driveway. I love that they are almost invisible during the day. They mark the driveway great at night with reverse and drive lights from vehicles. I have run a few over and they bend or some break. The kids have walked over a few and they bend. I hit a few with my shovel while clearing snow and they sheared off. The breakaway is ideal, not dangerous. Plus I bend some back if they don’t break off. I have had to replace a few, but the cost is very low to replace and the effort is redrilling a hole. The only problem I have is putting them on. It’s very difficult to push them on to each spike.
