## Description

From the manufacturer In The Quacks of Quedlinburg , players are charlatans — or quack doctors — each making their own secret brew by adding ingredients one at a time. Take care with what you add, though, for a pinch too much of this or that will spoil the whole mixture! Each player has their own bag of ingredient chips. During each round, they simultaneously draw chips from their bags and add them to their pots. The higher the face value of the drawn chip, the further it is placed in the pot's swirling pattern, increasing how much the potion will be worth. Push your luck as far as you can, but if you add too many cherry bombs, your pot will explode! At the end of each round, players gain victory points and coins to spend on new ingredients, depending on how well they managed to fill up their pots. But players whose pots have exploded must choose points or coins — not both! The player with the most victory points at the end of nine rounds wins the game.

A: It is the english edition :)

**Q: Is this the English language version?**
A: Yes, the version that we at Sir Hobby sell is the English one. We're a British company and all our games are an English.

**Q: What age of child would this be suitable and would you recommend it please?**
A: The game is not too hard, I would say 8+. However, the game can turn on a sixpence in terms of luck, cheating is easy, and the temptation to cheat is huge. So if you are a very competitive family there might be a lot of tears, either because someone crashes and burns just as they think they're doing really well, or because someone is caught cheating.

If you are happy to play a fun game, and enjoy trying to do your best, I would definitely recommend this game - we have members of our family that don't like games that much, but are happy to play.

**Q: We ordered this game last week and played it last night. We are missing a piece, the plain green victory point marker. How do we get one?**
A: I would recommend any suitable replacement token as I do not think you can order off BGG or anywhere else, just that piece alone. Sorry to hear it was missing and not a duplicate :D

This is a great game & this version has the two expansions. Normal delivery time to my location. -1 star because the vendor did not wrap the game box and it arrived with the shipping stickers on the game box itself. This makes for an unsightly box on my game shelf.
