Aquarium Stones Seiryu Rock 5kg Natural Stone for Aquascaping,7.5-20cm

Nice-looking rock with good texture and colour variation. It makes a small tank look much more natural and gives my neo shrimps plenty of surfaces to graze on. The pieces needed a SERIOUSLY proper rinse before going in, but that is expected with aquarium rock - especially after shipping. Good option if you want a simple hardscape that looks better than plain gravel.

I recently decided to get back into fish keeping and purchased some dragon stone from Amazon only for it to cause huge problems with the water being murky so I looked for something different and found this stuff. I was extremely happy with the stone I found in the box that arrived. I decided I wasn't making the same mistake with the dragon stone so I boiled each piece of this stone to both clean and kill anything that might be on it. It all cleaned up great and I have now put some of them in my aquarium and it looks so good. It is way better than the dragon stone I first tried. I purchased the 22LB box to ensure I got some bigger bits which I got a few chunky bits which look great. All in all I am very very happy with this stone and it is a nice hard stone so not leaching out into the water. Highly recommended.

Much better than I thought they were going to be. This is a 3ft tank which gives you a good idea of scale. I ordered two sets and they contained 2 large stones and varying other sizes. My architectural skills are lacking but they are easy to stack and put into groups.

Für mein Aquarium habe ich diese Seiryu Steine zugelegt und bin sehr zufrieden! Vorab habe ich mir versichern lassen, dass es sich hier um reine Natursteine handelt. Ich besitze ein 120-Liter-Becken, da genügen diese 5kg Steine. Man hat auch etwas Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten. Außerdem sehen sie auch noch sehr gut aus - von mir aus klare Kaufempfehlung!

Excellent size and quantity for the price. My LFS wanted $120 for 4 small stones (8 per lb) while this here is well priced in comparison. I got the 40lb box and they're a great blend of large and small rocks, just perfect! Couldn't be happier :)

I finally got the box of rocks, and I won’t lie—I was a little nervous. I was worried I’d end up with a bunch of tiny rocks or pieces that wouldn’t let me build a nice aquascape. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case at all. I actually received one stunning large centerpiece rock, along with a great mix of medium and smaller rocks. The variety is perfect, and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the selection. The only downside is that the rocks arrive very very dusty. I had already seen reviews mentioning this, so I expected to spend some time cleaning them. It definitely takes some effort, but in my opinion, it’s 100% worth it. If you look at my photos, you’ll see the first bucket of water turned completely cloudy from all the dust. After one round of scrubbing and changing the water, it was much clearer. Then I scrubbed them a second time with fresh water, and they came out looking amazing. I also saw another review saying that no matter how many times they changed the water, it never got any clearer. I just want to point out that simply changing the water isn’t enough. These rocks won’t get clean if you don’t actually scrub them. The good news is you don’t need to scrub them aggressively or use like actual heavy-duty equipment. I used a sponge and a toothbrush, and that was more than enough to remove all the dust and dirt from the rocks. It’s really just a matter of putting in a little effort. Yes, cleaning them is a little time-consuming, but I honestly don’t think you’re going to find natural aquarium rocks that arrive perfectly clean and ready to use right out of the box. These rocks are absolutely beautiful, and I think spending about an hour scrubbing them is a small price to pay for the final result. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend them.

Se cerchi il classico stile "Iwagumi" o un paesaggio naturale, queste pietre sono l'ideale. ​I punti di forza: ​Varietà delle forme: Il pacco contiene un buon mix di pezzi (nel mio caso circa 5-7 pietre) con dimensioni che variano effettivamente tra i 7 e i 20 cm. Questo permette di creare profondità, usando i pezzi grandi come "main stone" e quelli piccoli per i dettagli. ​Texture incredibile: Le venature e le fessure naturali sono molto profonde e pronunciate. Una volta in acqua, il colore grigio scuro/bluastro della Seiryu Stone risalta tantissimo, creando un contrasto meraviglioso con il verde delle piante. ​Pulizia: Arrivano abbastanza pulite, anche se una spazzolata sotto acqua corrente è sempre d'obbligo. ​Note tecniche importanti (da sapere): Trattandosi di pietre calcaree (tipico delle Seiryu), tendono ad alzare leggermente il KH e il GH dell'acqua. ​Consiglio: Se avete pesci che richiedono acque molto tenere, monitorate i parametri o utilizzate acqua d'osmosi nei cambi parziali per bilanciare l'aumento di durezza. Per le piante non è un problema, anzi, l'effetto estetico ripaga ampiamente questo piccolo accorgimento. ​Rapporto qualità-prezzo: Rispetto ad altri venditori online, il prezzo è onesto considerando che la spedizione di 5kg di materiale pesante è spesso costosa.
