My teeth have also gotten a few shades lighter. I love that it doesn't use fluoride. The mint is just right with this toothpaste. I tried their original toothpaste but the mint was very strong and overwhelming. I would recommend this toothpaste to anyone and everyone. David's even has an orange flavor which is terrific especially for kids.
