I bought this hose because the line included with my new hydraulic brake set wasn’t long enough for the rear. This hose doesn't seem as flexible as some, so i can understand why it may crack for some people, but for me it worked out just fine. I replaced the brake line going to the rear brake on my ebike. Been using it for a month now without an issue. Don't forcibly bend it like an L, and it should be fine. Was easy to cut and apply the tip to. Came with plenty of hose to reach rear brake with alot left over. Length is not an issue. The casing is hard, and doesn't seem puncturable, which is good, so shouldn't get any leaks. i'll reply with afollow up after a few months. Good deal for the price.

This was super easy. It came with everything needed. Obviously you need a brake bleeding kit if you are looking to extend, upgrade or replace your hydronic brake line. I had this done and was back to riding in 15 minutes. It never leaked or cracked or anything like some of the other comments I’ve read. I think a lot of the negative reviews are from people who are not so mechanically inclined. All it takes is one YouTube video for 2 minutes and you’re good if you don’t know how to properly install it. All in all I will buy again and I’d definitely recommend this to anyone. I ride a motorized bicycle and I get well over 50 mph and I trust this completely. It’s strong and never gave me the slightest problem or leak what so ever. This is a must have especially for the price you can’t beat it.

So far so good. I was recommended to not purchase anything but Shimano, however, I thought I would take the change since it is only for the front brakes. The material definitely feels different and has a course outside that may catch or rub on things. After ride number 5 I still have no leaks and the hosing still looks good.

I should have known better. I should have used Shimano. Rebuilding a Dura Ace bike with internally routed brake lines after the frame was painted. First sign of trouble was the syringe with brake oil was really difficult to compress when filling the rear brake line. After that it just got worse. No brake pad return, and unbelievable squeal. The front brake has the reused old Shimano rear brake line and works perfectly. Avoid and save yourself the time and expense of - mostly time in my case - at least an additional two to three hours and unwanted frustration.
