This stuff is excellent at removing wallpaper! First, not having to put together part after part is extremely helpful. It’s quick and easy to start. The trio together is the best. The concentrate works great to loosen up the wallpaper, while the scorer works wonders at breaking up the paper enough to let the scraper do the job. Removing wallpaper can be a headache, but these products as a set are all you need to make it an easy process.

I recently purchased a house that was basically covered in wallpaper…every single room. I thought I could do it myself. This product gets 4/5 stars because while it definitely works, it didn’t completely get the job done. The roller that you’re supposed to use to perforate the wallpaper was more or less useless. The razor is excellent (and works well for opening up paint cans!) but simply rolling it up and down will not work to remove wallpaper. You have to push it in at at angle against the wall, which risks ruining your drywall. I took off several chunks of drywall in various rooms which needed replacing. The liquid is best applied in a spray bottle mixed with warm water. Do not bother applying with a sponge. It’s messy and time consuming. The spray bottle over the wallpaper works best. For me, I found the process worked best by first pulling off what I could by hand. Then spraying the residue with the concentrate, then scraping with the razor. For wallpaper that is stubborn, I had to mix a 50:50 concoction of basic fabric softener and warm water in a separate spray bottle and used that in conjunction with the wallpaper removal. Pros: concentrate is easy to use and a little goes a long way, the razor serves multiple purposes, good value for the cost Cons: perforator is useless and risks damaging your drywall, razor is thick - meaning it doesn’t smoothly slide up and down the wall in a way that would remove the wallpaper, concentrate wasn’t strong enough for wallpaper that was applied a few decades ago.

I started removing wallpaper and the spray worked really well. But I didn't have the tools. I knew I was going to need more of the liquid so I ordered this set with the cutter tool and the scraping tool. You really have to be careful with the cutter tool. with too much pressure it will damage the drywall. But that scraper tool is spectacular. I'm removing very very old grass cloth and while the top layer with the actual grass material comes off very easily - the paper backing not so much. The scraper tool really does a great job of taking up the backing paper. I have a lot of grass cloth to remove and having this tool is going to make it a much easier job!

The liquid remover worked really well and made loosening the wallpaper quick and easy. I was able to pull off large sections without much effort. The scraper worked well at first, but the blade became dull after only a few uses. Once that happened, it started leaving a lot of residue and I ended up having to buy a separate scraper to finish the job. Overall the solution is great, but the scraper could definitely be better.

Don't purchase! The only useful item in this overpriced kit is the little perforator. Instead of their liquid, use vinegar and water 50/50. The scraper was totally useless. Buy a perforator on its own and use standard scraper blades.

I have not been super impressed with these products. The wallpaper scoring tool works well The scraper is a great idea, but if you press it against the wall with the roller against the wall, the angle of the blade does not actually meet with the wallpaper, but it’s too high… Hence you have to angle it yourself, as you would just a simple putty blade which leads to occasionally scratching or scraping the drywall. As the solution, I have found it to be a total waste… Vinegar seems to work just as well and isn’t toxic. This stuff I have doubted the wall with to the point that when I finally get the wallpaper off, the drywall underneath is wet… Maybe I just have really bad old wallpaper on my walls, and maybe with more modern wallpaper, this wouldn’t happen. My house is from the early 1970s and the paper chips and crumbles and it’s glued very well to the drywall… And unfortunately has also been wallpaper multiple times in some rooms still, I find it rather funny that a two dollar bottle of strong vinegar works far better than this stuff on my .

Great stuff! MIL spent hours taking wallpaper off a big wall with a steamer. This stuff makes it come off like butter in comparison. Get a professional spray bottle for like 3 bucks and have at it. I had success spraying and soaking for 15 minutes, and then soaking again and waiting 10 more minutes. I have a lot more to do, so going to experiment with those times and soaking more as some of it dried up before the 10 minutes was done.

Not worth the purchase. While the company has the best wallpaper remover on the market, this package was so overpriced. The bottle was half empty upon arrival and the scraper was rusted and useless. Don’t buy

En mi caso el papel tapiz que tenía estaba ya casi despegado pero ayudó en la parte de quitar el papel más pegado al yeso. Me resultó más fácil ir jalando el papel sin rayarlo con el aditamento que trae y echarle con atomizador el producto y en segundos lo puedes quitar. Un “profesional” te hubiera cobrado mucho dinero por algo que se puede hacer uno mismo.

The most complicated and time consuming part of a room renovation is removing the old 30-40 year old wallpaper along with the glue. We had done the washroom renovation a few years back and had such an awful time removing the wallpaper and glue that we avoided moving onto my daughter's room for nearly 3 years. Once we began, we realized that her room had even MORE glue than the washroom so I ordered this kit to help with the removal. The scorching tool was simple to use and did not damage the underlying drywall one bit. When I applied the solution to the wall, using a spray bottle, the glue seemed to melt right off. Still required some elbow grease to get all of the glue off but it was MUCH easier with the scraper and the solution.

This stuff really really works! I am super impressed!!! Makes the job so much easier that’s for sure
