This is a perfect replacement for outdated incandescent bulbs. One side burnt out in my wife’s 2019 4Runner, and I thought I’m just gonna replace both of the bulbs with LEDs — which is what I usually do when one of a pair burns out anywhere — but being on an older vehicle, the lenses had gone kind of dark and cloudy too. What is the point of putting in a bright new bulb, if it’s behind a dark cloudy lens? Then I saw these. This is so much better than an LED replacement bulb, because the sparkling new lens is part of the unit. There’s a wire lead and male plug on the back, and the whole thing just plugs in where the bulb would normally go. Screw it in place as if you were replacing the lens, and you’re done. Very bright, and as my wife said, “very futuristic looking.“ The only odd thing I encountered: the included screws were about one size too small, and I ended up using the old screws. Ours is a “previously enjoyed vehicle,” so I don’t know if the previous owner used larger screws at some point to correct for stripped out threads, or if our particular model simply had larger screws to begin with, but save those old screws until you’re sure of the fit. Also, the rubber sealing gaskets are not included, so you have to use your old ones. Pay attention to the fit, because one side is curved, and one side is straight. I say this only because I didn’t, and when they looked wonky, I had to take them apart and reinstall them (in my defense, I was doing this in the dark with a flashlight). This is also a great opportunity to clean those old gaskets and wipe them down with some silicone grease, and they’ll be good as new.

I purchased these for my 2004 4Runner fits perfectly. definitely do. recommend swapping out the screws. (they're a little bit too small) But they're definitely bright super duper bright

But they are just really bright compared to regular bulbs. Keep your original housing in case you decide to switch back. I'm keeping them.

Put these on my '01 4Runner for license plate lights. Look great and make a huge difference at night.

This leds are bright! Plug and play but the screws that come with are too small. You'll have to use your old rusty ones. 5th gen 4runner limited. Update: After just a little over 2 months, some of the leds are dead and one was flickering like a strobe light. Contacted Amazon customer service cause I couldn't find sellers information about warranty and Amazon took care of me. Returning and getting my money back.

The lights themselves are very bright and work as intended. The screws provided are NOT the correct size though. I was planning on replacing my rusty screws with these new ones but I had to reuse the OEM screws until I get replacements.
