I don't love the smell of shea butter in my lotion bars, so I decided to try swapping out 1/2 of the shea butter in the recipe with cocoa butter. It gave me the texture and smell I was looking for! This cocoa butter is rich, creamy, and melts right into my skin—no greasy feel. The warm, natural cocoa scent is so comforting, and my skin feels softer and more hydrated after just a few uses. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I purchased this cocoa butter to use in my homemade lotions, balms, soaps, and other DIY skincare products, and it has been excellent. It melts smoothly, blends well with my other ingredients, and has performed exactly the way I was hoping it would. One of my favorite things about it is that it has very little scent. I prefer adding my own essential oils, so having a cocoa butter that doesn't compete with the fragrance is a huge plus for me. The quality has been consistently good, and I've had no issues with texture or performance. It's very soft & smooth. Your skin will absorb this nicely. Easy to use and it stay long in your skin. The smell is very very light barely smell that coco butter I would have loved because for my preference is the scent of chocolate, you know. But if it doesn't matter then this product definitely to have.

Works well on baby eczema prone skin. Per his pediatrician’s advice, I've been using this as an alternative to the more common baby lotions I had been usingfor my son. It's perfume free (but still smells good without irritating his skin) and just has the one ingrediant (I accidently bought Palmer's cocoa butter formula which does not). When I opened the package, I transferred it to a jar to make it easier because the packaging it not resealable. It comes apart in chunks and melts slowly in your hands, so pretty thick, but not messy like coconut oil.

Food value and leaves skin soft and healthy

Ivory-colored but closer to white. Smells faintly like cocoa butter, but isn't hard as expected. Soft enough to apply to your skin directly from the bag, but not sure about other uses like making body care products.

The product came somewhat soft which makes it easy to use out of the bag as a skin moisturizer. I use it as an ingredient in soap. Made my first batch and it behaved wonderfully in my recipe. The cocoa butter has a very mild chocolate smell. The only change I would recommend is in how it's packaged. Due to it's softness, once you open the bag it can get very messy. To store what was left I placed their bag in a zip lock bag.

Unsure if this is just poor quality cocoa butter or a mixture of butters and oils, but it definitely doesn't seem like 100% pure, quality cocoa butter. The smell is slightly different (although it still smells nice), and the texture, consistency, and color are off . . . It isn't hard/firm, then gradually softens as it warms. It also feels more oily compared to others I have purchased. It is just very different from the other similar cocoa butters I have purchased before. It didn't work right for what I NEEDED it for, but I was able to mix small amounts of it in with some other ingredients to make something else. So I was able to make use of it, I just wasn't able to make the products I had intended it for. I wouldn't buy again . . . unless I actually *needed* something with its consistency/etc.

Very disappointed Not a raw cocoa butter it's creamy and not hard no smell of cocoa butter.
