Works well. But if you want to use with MacOS 24.6.1 or later on your M1 MBP or later or Studio Display there is a bug in the Apple software that will result in a failed calibration—this is well documented. To calibrate your Apple’s display you must use the Calibrite software. It is to your advantage because Calibrite provides a way to validate the calibration which is something the Apple calibration software does not do even if it was working.

I decided instead of trying endless settings I'd find online, I would just learn to calibrate myself. I use this with Colourspace zro and it worked exactly as advertised. I used it on a mini led and oled and both displays look great after it. It accurately measured mini led up to peak brightness of 3300. Great purchase and well worth the purchase to get the most out of any display.

AFAIK this is the only colorimeter for modern oled monitors. Works on my HP ZBook with a 4k oled panel. Works on my ASUS PG32UCDM OLED. Works on my Dell S3225QC OLED. I'm not totally sure if I needed the plus HL model for these monitors but I didn't want to buy two of the things if I guessed wrong. It also works on my ASUS ProArt PA32U LCD, but I think any old colorimeter will work on an LCD. The construction of this feels cheap, the plastic is much thinner than any other brand colorimeter I own. However, the important part - the optics - they are much better. The included calibrite software works great. You don't need to bother with the third party stuff. Just install and rock and roll.

Definitely a need if you are printing your work

I’ve been calibrating monitors with Spyder's offerings since the mid 2000s, and finally decided to try the Calibrite Display Plus HL since Calibrite (formally X-rite) has long been the industry standard. The hardware seems great, but the software... not so much. On Windows, the Calibrite Profiler app had some weird UI bugs. The measurement screen would full-screen without any buttons on my secondary monitor, so I couldn’t complete the process. I was able to work around it by setting the affected display as the primary display just to get the buttons to show up, though. There was also a strange issue where the app thought my monitors were swapped. Support was responsive and tried to help, but even their beta build didn't fix the missing-button issue. We ultimately landed on "keep using the workaround and hope a future build will address the issue", which isn't the end of the world, but isn't great either. Honestly surprised the shipping software still has issues like this. Many people suggest just using DisplayCAL or Calman, and I now see why. I thought hard about swapping to the latest Datacolor SpyderPro instead (I've never had basic problems like this with their offerings, and it now claims to calibrate up to 12,000 nits, so Calibrite no longer has that long-standing advantage with their 10,000 nits), but I’m giving Calibrite the benefit of the doubt because of their historical reputation. Great meter, but the software needs work.

1.) with the help of chatgpt and the program hcfr i was able to calibrate my tv with no issues, “tcl 646 mini led” 2.) i also calibrated my msi oled monitor using the calibrite profiler and after several trial and errors it seemed to work well, i will say the device needs to be a dark room for it to work as intended. 3.) one issue i had is when i received the product i can tell it wasn’t “new” but probably a return from some chump that returned it. I was gonna return it and ask for an actual new device but at that point i was way too annoyed to deal with the return. 4.) the accuracy seems to be working on oled and the mini led which is great since other devices are incredibly more expensive so this gets the job done.

I bought this just to be able to use all the options in the calibrite profiler. I had the SL variant, and it was very limited in configuration options. This one make use of all options and made a very noticeable difference in color presentation. I don't know if it's more accurate or not, but it looks better than before to me. Hope that helps.

Jag kan tyvärr inte rekommendera produkten. Kvalitén på hårdvaran var betydligt sämre än förväntat. Plasten hade lossnat på ena sidan av kalibratorn, och det grå höljet på USB‑dongeln föll också av.

Gutes Gerät. Funktioniert sowohl mit der eigenen wie auch mit open Source Software. Nutze es sowohl für IPS wie auch für OLED Panels. Löst meinen I Diplay ab, der keine OLEDS konnte.

El producto llegó a tiempo y sin problemas. Funciona muy bien. Es muy fácil de usar. Se puede usar con otros software y te recuerda de calibrar cada cierto tiempo para mantener calidad en tu monitor. Lo he usado en monitores BenQ y MacBook M1 pro sin problemas.
