Absolutely perfect for the purpose and it was delivered very quickly - if I'm needling any further computer hardware supplies then I'll be checking this Company first.

Got a new router and found that they are now WAN ethernet ports not the older RJ11. Things have moved on and I'm no techy. We still do not have full fibre in our street so still have the old BT phone socket RJ11. I did not think this would work but it was not clear (to me at least) from the description. You cannot use this to connect a new ethernet router to the old phone socket. Different signals. You need an ADSL modem still.

Was trying to set-up a 'Broadband Connection' and found out that my Broadband ISP had not supplied a suitable cable (RJ45 plug to RJ11 plug) to make the final connection from the (seemingly) fairly modern BT Openreach Filtered Faceplate in the flat (which had a 'filtered' conventional telephone socket for the telephone side of things to the right, along with a RJ45 'Ethernet' socket for the final connection to the ADSL Modem / Wireless Router box on the left), so the solitary supplied RJ11 to RJ11 cable (presumably designed for older BT Openreach Faceplates?) just wasn't going to work.Ordered a 1m version of this RJ45 to RJ11 cable as suitable in this case (it was described as being designed for just this sort of circumstance in the 'blurb' and one of the previous reviewers had described its use in similar circumstances to mine) and sure enough, plugging one end of it into the left-hand (RJ45 / 'Ethernet') socket on the front / wall plate and the other into the RJ11 socket on the ADSL Modem / Wireless Router pretty quickly resolved my problem - I had a 'Broadband' connection to the Internet!If you are relying on what a 'low-end' ISP sends out with their 'box' and have a 'modern' BT Openreach Faceplate in your property and the cables that they send out seem to be entirely unsuitable, I would thoroughly recommend this as a (fairly quick) way to resolve the likely problem that you are confronted by.

Probably nothing wrong with the cable it looked well made etc . It just didn’t work for the application intended.

Great brand and it works as intended. Its just plug and play. Rhinocables products are great value for the money and they come in different lengths.

My cable measures about 4.6m, so a little short of the advertised length.I'm not too bothered by this as it turns out I needed a 6m cable, so it would have been too short for my needs anyway. Thought it worth mentioning though, as this might matter to some people.

Cavo di buona qualità. Usato principalmente per collegare un modem/router Fritz box che richiede questa tipologia di connettore. Di facile installazione non ho null'altro da segnalare. Nessun aspetto negativo per quanto mi riguarda.

La verdad es que tuve suerte de encontrar este cable y con la medida que necesitaba, pues no suele ser habitual tener que pasar directamente de RJ11 a RJ45, pero en mi caso tenía que encontrar algún cable o adaptador que lo hiciera.

When I plug it into the rj45 block the phone works but then the other phones connected to other normal rj11 Jack's stops working.
