I was comparing this to other similar available items and this one seems to be the best. I use it to string lights up high and also to hang and remove large Christmas Wreaths hung high up. I use it with a 8-23 foot painters extension pole. It works fantastic! My only suggestion to the company is to use a butterfly set screw versus a phillips set screw. It would make installing the attachment much easier. Still not enough to reduce the five star rating. The hook looks and feels like quality. Highly recommend it!

I have a high shrub border around my property that was over-run with vine growth. I needed to pull them off, and I needed a telescopic pole to get at them. This attachment held up against heavy force and is a great addition to my pole. Those having problems with the connection are not connecting the attachment properly. You must loosen the set screw before threading the attachment, then tighen it when it is firmly connected. My poles are 3/4 inch thread and Unger branded, but with the set screw this should work on other brands as well. The attachment is sturdy and well made, and it was exactly what I needed.

Strong and versatile. Good build quality, all cast metal. Hook did not bend when used to pull hard on items. Threaded attachment secures to Doca pole well, and does not require the included screw to secure the hook to the threads, but it makes it even more secure.

either the pole or or hook is not true ACME threads cause hook would barely start on pole threads and since this pole is used for one thing and one thing only I modifeid the pole to except the hook by grinding down the diamiter of theads of the pole threads a little at a time till hook went on far enough hook still turned and locked in place so removed and JB welded the threads then screwed the hook back on once locked in place then I tighened up set screw and once JB weld setup I bored it an pined it for reinforcement. I am a cable Tech and our coax & and fiber Drops a lot of the time guides us through trees from one pole to next and we need to get line higher in the tree limbs to get the hight on line needed this works great for that to guide line out around limb to get line higher and the wide jaw makes it easier to access line when its already hanging 15ft above head in air. In short great hook just sucks no one can seem to get true ACME threads the same would buy it again even knowing i would have to do modifications to one or the other to get it to fit NOTE: Brand of pole is LONG ARM so stay away from them for a better fit they are not ACME threads

Purchased this attachment to use on an extension pole. Works as designed. Metal.

Did not fit standard broom handle from Lowes, had to return. Was solidly made, though.

Quality material and think it will last a long time. Unfortunately, there is a standard width of a pole with a broom handle thread and this is slightly big. It does not screw on tightly.
