Q: Is the lining ceramic or aluminum? The photo looks like aluminum with a black coating.

It is aluminum with a ceramic coating. I couldn’t find one with an entirely ceramic bowl so this was the next best thing as the aluminum is sealed completely by the ceramic coating.

Q: How long does it take to cook the rice?

It took 20-25 minutes to cook, just like the instructions says.

Q: Is the inner lid removable for easy washing?

Yes the inner lid is removable.

Q: Does this make 4 cups of cooked or uncooked rice?

The measuring cup is 2/3 cup, you can add 2 of them equaling 1 1/3 cups uncooked rice which should yield 4 cups cooked approximately. I wish it held more rice though because it is smaller than I expected although the counter space is nice.
