Review: Excellent teabags - they don't tear if you sinch them correctly! - I had used some empty tea bags previously but they were the bleached white ones and I just didn't like knowing I was drinking my tea out of something so processed. So I switched back to the stainless steel tea strainers. Anyone who drinks a lot of tea knows these things are a pain in the butt to clean wet tea leaves out of. So I went back to empty bags and selected these. To some extent I suspect there's a marginal difference between these and other options, but I will say I am 100% pleased with this product: - Great size for several heaping teaspoons of tea (if you like it strong) and big enough that I feel like the leaves have room to really move around. - Absolutely no taste. - Sturdy. Has not torn on me once. I will say that when I first received them, I almost returned because when I was sinching the teabag shut, the bag was ripping. Pull to the SIDE to sinch, not UP, and the bag will not tear. Simply how the bags are threaded. Alternatively, sometimes I just twist the bag shut. But I'd like to re-iterate that these bags do not tear if closed correctly. Great product, less mess.
