Simple recipes but poorly indexed
Lots of simple recipes less than a page long. I have tried three or four so far, all good.It was frustrating trying to find them though, since the recipe numbers and the page numbers in the table of contents are completely inaccurate. There is no index in the back.

So Excited to Cook!
I just received this cookbook the other day and I am so excited to start trying out all the recipes I've already started tabbing several which will be first on my list. This cookbook has 600 recipes and is broken down by types. I'm trying to be more mindful with my cooking and the Mediteranian Diet is one my doctor suggested I follow. Greek dishes fall into this category and I am excited to see all the different dishes I will be able to try. There is such a variety to choose from and options for quick to prepare meals to those I can simmer all day on the weekend. I like how the options are varied. If you are looking to expand on your Greek recipes, I recommend this cookbook.

I gave it as a gift. I didn’t realize there were no photos of the food so that was disappointing

A Culinary Journey to the Heart of Greece
Just finished flipping through the "Maria Paulalalli Greek Cookbook" and I'm beyond excited! With 600 recipes to choose from, it's like having a Greek grandmother in my kitchen, guiding me through every zesty tzatziki and moussaka masterpiece. The promise of easy-to-follow recipes delivered—each dish I tried brought a taste of Greece right to my home, no passport needed. Whether I’m whipping up a quick weekday meal or planning a big family feast, this book has been a game-changer. It's not just a cookbook; it's a ticket to creating memories with loved ones, filled with good food and even better vibes. Opa!

The table of contents does not match the rest of the book
You can’t find recipes because the table of contents does not match the rest of the book. I can’t believe they sold me something like this. I’ve gotten a lot of carp off Amazon before, but this takes the cake! For example, the first entry says pepperoni and cheese frittata, and when you go to that page and see that number for the one thing, the numbers not on that page but number five Greek lemon chicken. This is junk. This is junk that they’re selling you. They’re selling you things that never should’ve made it to a customer. They’re selling you things that should’ve been shredded prior to ever being sold. there are a lot of recipes and so that means that if there’s an abundance to sort through if you have the time in your life to sit there and sort through it all. I don’t but for $13 I’m not gonna waste anybody’s time to sell it back. I just can’t believe that Amazon keeps letting stuff like this get by.

Lots of easy recipes!
I’ve just started my journey with Greek/Mediterranean cuisine and this book looks to be a great stepping stone. It’s well organized, with a variety of different recipes (from breakfast foods to salads to seafood dishes to sauces, and more), as well as some information about Greek cuisine itself, which is nice. All the dishes sound tasty and appear doable, with limited ingredients and only a few steps, but I think I’m most excited to try all the new-to-me recipes, such as revithada (chickpea stew) and spanakopita (spinach & feta pie), peinirli (Greek pizza) and garidomakaronada (shrimp & pasta).
