## Description

White Gelcoat with Wax Pint with 15cc Hardener (MEKP) Gelcoat with wax is for the final coat. The wax settles to the top and need to constantly be mixed. If not mixed properly your gelcoat will have patches that are still sticky. The wax helps dry the gelcoat all the way so it won't be sticky and also so it can be sanded. Remember without the wax your gelcoat will remain sticky.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this require that you cover it with plastic in order to cure it?**
A: No, the wax “floats” to the surface and promotes curing.  Gelcoat without wax needs to be covered with a thin film like PVA.

**Q: Does this come with hardener?**
A: Yes it does.

**Q: Can you put multiple coats on if you you need to build up an area?**
A: You can but, if you use with wax you would have to sand in between every coat. The easiest way to do multiple coats is to use the no wax gelcoat and do your build up, then your last coat use the gelcoat with wax. This way you don't need to sand every coat.

**Q: I'm looking to refinish a cultured marble counter-top. Is this a hard surfaced coating that will hold up in a sink?**
A: I would doubt that this would hold up in a sink application.  Try the manufacturer.
