Such a great deal for these bannetons! They are a great size for normal/smallish sourdough loaves, and seem sturdy and functional for all of my sourdough needs.

I bought this set for the proofing baskets, which I needed for my new sourdough bread making habit. The proofing baskets work just perfectly. They are a good size, easy to keep clean, and allow for 2 differently shaped loaves. I have zero complaints about them. The unexpected winner from this bundle, however, was the whisk for stirring the dough. I had NO idea how much I needed it in my life. It is sturdy and takes a lot of the wrist work out of bread making. I love it.

If the title sounds like you, or if you are just beginning... this product and bundle is a great purchase. You have all the things you would want when starting out, and I love the sizes and different shapes of these bannetons. The dough doesn't stick to the fabric when well-floured. It is easy to clean, use, and the scoring tool comes with extra blades to ensure a clean score. Quality is great for all the pieces, and I am glad I purchased.

The wood isn’t completely smooth. There are broken pieces and small wood pieces sticking out. Haven’t had a problem with them getting pieces in dough or anything and work just fine, just think the wood could be a little nicer.
