Outanding!
Very bright but warm light, really lights up the area under cabinets. Some reviews here have said it only lights a narrow area but I'd strongly disagree, it lights up the whole worktop and brightly covers around 80-90cm of cabinet width. We've used 2 lights for 2 80cm cabinets in a corner and it's perfect, very brightly lit. These have made a massive difference to the look and practicality of our kitchen, highly recommended! The only small note/negative I'd point out is that you'll need to make sure you buy a mains plug and some way of attaching the mains cable to the cabinets, these aren't included. Fixings for the lamp are however, though the screws were too long for our cabinets.

Easy to fit and extremely bright
I ordered two of these to replace existing fluorescent under cabinet lights. They arrived well wrapped and in good condition. In the box you get the light, wire, fixing brackets (2 types - angled or straight down fitting) plus screws and rawl plugs. They are extremely easy to fit - just the 2 wires - live and neutral (no earth required). I used choccy block cases to join to my existing wiring. The light they give out is amazing! The spread of light is good and a cool 'daylight' white. I used the angle brackets and fitted the lights as far back as i could to point the light out and across the work surface.

Excellent, best under cabinet led lighting you will buy.
Did a lot of research when looking to replace old fluorescent tubes and came across these. Technical specifications on web site were not brilliant but a quick email direct to Leyton Lighting in the UK got an answer within a few hours. You need careful measuring to fit the clips under cupboards but once in and wired up (mains supply) they produce an excellent bright white light that puts old units to shame.I've moved from about 120 watts of fluorescent to less than 40 watts of led with at least double the light output. One of the better purchases of led replacement lighting in the home.

Good one... fit for purpose
Obviously as many of us know, is doesnt come with a plug for obvious costing reasons. Be prepare to spend another £1-£2 for B&Q plug. Just need a plug with 3AMP fuse and not more.I am using it for lighting a cabinet that is 400mm in width and this proves to be very bright. So thumb rule can be - width of the lights should be near to half of the area that it has to light up.Its pricey, but the series lights are cheap in quality and price both. This one is neat, standard and (I hope it remains) durable.I am writing this review within first week of my usage.

Bright slim and robust. Just the job.
A slim well made light fitting. The fitting has 30 white led's and is switched. It comes with a 1 metre cord which plugs into the end of the fitting. You need to attach a plug or wire into a junction box. The light is bright and emits no heat, and being led will last a long time. I have used it in an airing cupboard to walk in wardrobe conversion and it's great. The lack of heat means no risk of clothes catching alight should they happen to touch the lamp. Also some have criticised the plastic mounting clips as fiddly. I had no problem with them, they must be blaming thier own ineptitude.

Excellent lights for hardwired circuits.
Needed some LED lighting to replace the old long bulb lighting under our kitchen cupboards. Selected these because they wired straight in with no need to hide a power brick - making an easy replacement. The clips are a little flimsy but treated with care they work just fine. The lights are brilliant - literally! They provide a good spread of illumination front to back on the worktop, and one strip per 600mmm unit was ideal. Being hard wired makes life easier as they all run off the old cupboard lighting switch, but they can be individually switched if required with a switch on each unit. Perfect!

Good under-cabinet light.
I got five of these for under-cabinet lighting in a new kitchen. This worked out a little pricey but the build quality is good. The light intensity is also good, certainly as good if not better than fluorescent equivalents, but possibly a bit cold for some people. Personally, I like the 'cool' colour temperature for illuminating work areas. Two types of brackets are supplied, one for corner mounting and one for flat mounting (i.e. shining directly down). The light angle is quite directional so mounting them at 45 degrees behind a pelmet can result in most of the light being directed at the tiles/splashback rather than the worktop. I mounted them behind the pelmet but shining directly down and this looked good.

Brilliant replacement for under cupboard kitchen lighting
These units are brilliant replacements for under cupboard fluorescent lighting in kitchens, offering a bright clean light, much lower running cost, and no heat output. They also look good when the light is reflected (as it will be if you have glossy finished kitchen worktops). The LEDS can't be replaced, of course, so these are "fit and forget" fitments - just screw to underside of cupboard, connect to mains wiring and you're done. I can think of dozens of other uses for these units as well........
