Super form of gear oil / Hyundai 6 speed DTC transmission fluid. This gets around using and contorting tubes and gravity for fluid replacement. This saved a bunch of time. Not only that, but it was much cheaper than the Hyundai OEM oil and had better certifications, and although it costs a little more than other equivalent fluids, their use in traditional bottles is much more laborious and less efficient. This saved a ton of time, effort, and then clean up. Super!!!

The bottle design saved me from having to buy a small hand pump for my transfer case. Overall the fluid is synthetic and at a reasonable price point so it’s a good fluid to use. Of course if you’ve never used gear oil before the smell is normal due to limited slip additives.

This is what I use to change rear differential fluid in my 2008 Tacoma v6 pre runner. Love that Valvoline puts their fluid in bags it makes it so such easier and faster squirting it into the hole. I’ve tried other brands that uses bottles so you have to use a hand pump to fill it and it’s just a mess and takes forever..

My moped calls for SAE 90 gear oil which is harder to find, I used this and don't have an issue yet. Did the gear oil change drove about 50 mi since no problems. Old fluid that came out had that silver tinge to it which indicates metal shavings. Preventive maintenance is always good, supposably this is not good for brass gears, which I don't believe my moped has.
