Review: The Best Cheese I've tasted since the 70s - I have to say this cheese is the best full flavoured extra strong mature cheddar that I have been able to lay my hand on since the 1970s All those supermarket stuff that promise the same always fall short, but this Black Bob really delivers a punch of flavour. I kid you not if you are from the days before there were supermarkets and you used to buy from the local neighborhood store. It crumbles on cutting although it has a soft creamy texture and delivers exactly what it says on the packet. This cheese is not for the sandwich as it would be a waste but for those who like to have it with a ploughman's, alone with homemade bread or with biscuits ( those for cheese ) not your custard cream. It arrived well packed with what appears to be a set of small ice blocks, each cheese has a thick black wax jacket protection and has a long shelf life and it's excellent value. The only problem that I now have is I can't stop eating it plus I will be busy baking bread. I highly recommend that you try this cheese! *Please note that the picture shows specks of black on the cheese? This is due to me cutting it with the wax coating on and not in the cheese.*
Review: Very very nice flavour - A bit pricey but worth every penny. I've excluded NSFW words so all that remains is "lovely".

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Has this cheese got be refrigerated? Can it be left outside for some time?**
A: We advise long term refrigeration to prevent the cheeses from swelling and cracking the wax which would cause the cheese to leak oils.

**Q: What is the size of each cheese? Need dimensions to see if they will go in my advent calendar? They are 6cm x 6cm boxes? Thanks**
A: Each cheese is a cylinder in shape.

Diameter is 7.8cm height is 5.4 cm. Rgds

**Q: This is the first time that I've bought truckles of cheese. What's the best way to get the cheese out? Thanks.**
A: Let one get to room temperature about 30 minutes as all cheese should be eaten this way not cold. The wax will cut easier this way. Cut in half top label to base and remove the wax.

**Q: Can this cheese be frozen?**
A: I think most cheese can be frozen, but I not sure about this one because it doesn't last long enough as it so Good!
