I'd bought some boots which looked good but because his claws were long (despite being cut by the vet) there was no way the boots would stay on. I had even tried taping them on which was marginally better. These balloon things stayed on and he didn't seem to mind them being tight. I found it better to tape his paw first and ghen the balloon went on easier. However although the balloon wasn't punctured the foot still got damp. By the time I tried these it wasn't an issue but might have been straight after the operation when I had to keep the wound dry ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Difficult to put on foot *by J***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 July 2023* When purchasing this product I was hoping that the opening would be loose enough to get over the foot but tight enough to keep the boot in place.However, the opening was concerning lay tight and a lot of training (or two people) is required to get the opening wide enough to slot the dogs foot in.The actual paw area is plenty big enough, just wish the opening was a little bigger ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my senior Husky *by E***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 June 2023* The media could not be loaded.  My 13 year old Husky girl loves these boots!Sadly, she drags her paws across the pavement and makes them bleed - although we mostly walk in the woods or choose parks with loads of grass to explore, we do need to cross roads or walk on hard surfaces - these rubber boots are amazing for this purpose, I can clearly see how comfortable and pain free my dog is wearing them. The material is strong and so far we've not had any wear and tear marks.
