Rio Deo Aluminum-Free Deodorant Cheirosa 62

I’ve been using the Sol de Janeiro Rio Deo Refillable Deodorant for a few weeks now, and I am absolutely loving it! The Cheirosa '62 scent is incredible, with warm notes of pistachio and salted caramel that keep me smelling fresh all day. 🌸✨ What I really appreciate is that it’s aluminum-free and baking soda-free, so it’s gentle on my skin and doesn’t cause any irritation. Smells great and works! Smooth and creamy hydration! A bit on the expensive side but I don’t like using aluminum based deodorant and this works for me!

Does work and smell so good if your someone that doesn't need something stronger like me .

I really like this deodorant and wanted it to work but if it’s an active day for me- i’m gunna be stinking after a few hours. It smells so nice and the texture is velvety and goes on smooth. It doesn’t leave stains on my clothes that won’t wash out. It doesn’t go on chunky or anything, even if it’s cold when i apply it. That being said, I’ve worn it to work a few times and I definitely stink if I don’t wear the right deodorant- and unfortunately this is not the “right” one for me. I can smell my bo after a little while and have to reapply, and somehow it makes my body odor smell even worse? If it’s cold though and I’m not being super active I can get through the day with this stuff, just not an every day deodorant for me.

I have been using natural deodorants for about 2 years. I had high hopes for this one because it’s from Sol de Janeiro, a brand I really like. I used the entire bottle to give it a fair review and sadly, this deodorant was the worst i’ve used. Before using this deodorant, if I had BO it would be a barely noticeable smell. When i used this deodorant, it seemed to make it smell so much worse. I really didn’t like that it seemed to make my armpits sweat more while using it. Since it is so thick, it would cause the deodorant to accumulate in certain areas and would look nasty when I lifted my arms. Its consistency does not allow it to dry down quickly, so there was always marks on my clothing. I haven’t had an aluminum-free deodorant that has caused this many issues. I strongly believe your body chemistry also affects the strength of a deodorant BUT this deodorant offered absolutely nothing. So far, Curie natural deodorants have been the best for me.

I alternate between this and Lume because my regular one stopped working. I don't actively search for aluminum free however this is one of the best options out there in that category. I find this scent to be far less intense than the others and it doesn't irritate my underarms. I keep it in my handbag to reapply as needed because I work a very physically active job and sweat profusely. The stick itself seems to last a long time even with regular use; I've had mine for several months and there's plenty left. As for the claims of shaving less I don't know the validity however my armpits are very smooth. I also use this on other areas of my body as I find the scent agreeable (I get fruit/vanilla/woody) and it helps with keeping odor at bay. If you're sensitive do a patch test first as the enzymes/fragrance can cause a rash for some.

Smell is subtle, goes on easy, is a little soft when it's warm out so be gentle. My only complaint is it doesn’t last long at all.

I expected more from this deodorant but I’m disappointed with it. Firstly is the texture that is very creamy and not consistent; then how it leaves white particles on the region. The white particles stay if you don’t actually wipe it off, and if you, you’re basically removing the deodorant. So not effective at all. Knowing the great smell of the body mist I thought this would have the same scent as well. But that wasn’t the case. It smells in the beginning but after a couple of minutes it’s gone.

The product had an amazing fruity and floral scent and it wasnt fake and came in very good condition

It’s good for a hour or 2 but not for any longer

Smells great! I got the cheirosa 68 (the pink one) and it is lovely. The only thing is, it is quite hard to take out the deodorant to refill it. Luckily I have not had to refill it yet! Also it is quite expensive, and I’m not sure if I would buy it again, but I will definitely continue using it.
