Just so you know where I am coming from, I have partly bleached, long hair that reaches my waist, that I color myself using Pravana and highly recommend (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MSCE28S). I have been using other conditioners I bought from Amazon and have been AGONIZING over how DRY and DEAD my hair looks that I thought maybe this is just how my hair is and I need to accept it...fat chance! I KNOW my hair can be shiny and silky! I had been burned by Aveeno before and I thought just maybe it would be different this time. I undid my braid this morning and I am actually impressed with how shiny my hair is! I showed my husband and he said, "Shiny". In the past he would just say, "Looks like hair". It hasn't been shiny in SO LONG. Side note, I do also use about a tablespoon of coconut oil (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00U1RKGOW/) every other day on just the hair and I only shampoo my scalp every few days. And I started just applying conditioner to my scalp and hair. But last night, I was tired and didn't care, so I just did OGX shampoo (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GPS4J86/) on my scalp with this product (LBP conditioner) and my hair has regained its form. In short, this conditioner worked well for me. I do have some Oribe shampoo and conditioner I plan on trying out after I finish this bottle. I own high end brands from Matrix, Leonor Greyl, and more. All with high claims. We're vegan so I have been striving for a cleaner lifestyle with my bath and body products. This is the best for my 2C thick frizzy wavy mess of a color-treated head. I can comb through it in the shower easily and it brushes easily after the shower. My hair survives better between washes and it smells amazing. It still smells fresh and rosy on day 3! I've been trying to wash my hair less frequently and this allows me to live a life without wanting to shave my head bald (which I've done) or wash again and again. This combined with a good brush, occasional hair mask, leave-in serum, and less washes has saved my hair. Most "green" products strip the hair or make my hair feel nappy or straw- like, this doesn't! My hair feels the softest it ever has (before the extra steps of other products)

The product itself is great, it smells nice and leaves my color treated hair vibrant, soft and clean. It smells like roses but it's not too strong, it just has a nice hint of scent which I prefer. it rinses out completely, and the conditioner detangles and softens my dry, knotty ends. However, upon opening my package, it looked like both of the bottles had been opened and/or spilled and then just closed up again, there was residue all over the top of the lids and in the packaging. Both bottles had product missing, and it was very messy cleaning everything off. Like I said this is a good product but I won't be ordering from Amazon again. I'll just pick it up at the drugstore (where it's cheaper, too).

This is by far the best shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair usually when I wash my hair with color treated shampoo I end up with some coloring coming out. I had none of that with this. It’s a really great product. I highly suggest it!

Unlike so many shampoos and conditioners, this brand does not leave a residue on my hair. My hair feels great! I also appreciate that this shampoo that does not have nasty ingredients and has an affordable price.
