Really cool, fun clock to have, and easy to use.
I LOVE THIS SMART CLOCK! I've been wanting one for years. Actually looked at real nixie tube clocks. There are like 2 or 3 on Amazon, and they all cost several hundred dollars! So to find this one at around $70.00 was tremendous! This by the way is an edited version of my first review. When I first got it, I tried to set it up and I couldn't get it. I followed the app instructions but got interrupted with something else and when I came back, I couldn't get to that vital step. So I re-registered it with a different email (should have just deleted it and started over). I thought the clock was DOA because I plugged it in, a few LEDs lit up and then it shut down. So I tried another power source, and voila! Another review mentioned no customer support. That's not true. There is an email address on the instructions manual as well as one in the app if you look for it. Started setting it up around 8:00 pm, but ran into the aforementioned issues. So I sent an email. A few hours later I got an email back. The email name was in Chinese characters, but the content was well written English, stating there may have been an issue with a power source. I tried another one, and sure enough it worked perfectly. Connecting your phone to the clock via the app is actually way easier than what it looks like. Another review mentioned a difficulty time, or not even able to figure it out at all. It is a little glitchy. Takes a little longer than to figure out, than say, the Philips Hue app. The instruction manual type was so small I had to take my glasses off to look at it. Once you get exploring the app, things get much easier. It has a very solid metal base with silicone feet underneath it, so it won't move around once you set it down. The tubes are actual real glass. It looks so cool. I like to watch a lot of sci-fi, dystopian movies that incorporate mixes of technologies (old and new) with Steampunk elements. This clock fits right in. I actually placed my clock on the mantle. And it looks awesome! I have a very small apartment, so probably not big enough if you have like a 200 sq ft room. You can connect with either Bluetooth or WIFI. However if you want to customize the displays, you have to be on WIFI so you can download them. There is no storge on the phone or in the app. Once you hit download, it transmits the display directly from the cloud to the clock. There's a favorites feature in there that I love. You can add all your favorites and transmit them there. There are seeming hundreds of displays you can download/transmit. I haven't eve scratched the surface. And it has holiday themes. I'm currently running through the Halloween themes. I can't wait to see what they have for Christmas. I like it so much, I might buy another one. I just hope to get a few years out of it, not 6 months and it dies for good. LOL Also, don’t be fooled by the price. There are a lot of these available on Amazon. The average is about $100. I chose this one because it looked like it did exactly what I wanted it to do. In actuality, like many things Amazon sells, the products are virtually identical. A higher priced model does not necessarily mean a better product. Read the ads and compare.

Please add manual access to time settings!
They appear to have fixed the app problems on iPhone at least. Set up to WiFi was smooth and easy! The only problem is that clock only synchronizes time with local WiFi or cellphone time. You can’t set it to any specific time zone not in your location. For example I’m using this clock for my ham radio that can transmit/receive around the world. To keep everyone on the same page we sometimes reference Zulu time in Greenwich, England, so that communication meetings are not confused from one country to the next. This clock makes a perfect visual for being on top of my radio rig, but without being able to manually adjust time settings it just doesn’t serve the purpose of why I bought it. Not of course a fault of the designers, but only not an anticipated use and therefore not an offered feature. The old fashioned style tubes connects us amateur radio operators with the past especially for the baby boomers, and contrasts the past with modern day electronics. Other than that it’s a beautiful clock and I’m only dissatisfied that the app creators have not allow for manual adjustments to the time, so that us ham radio operators can make better use of this wonderful product! I plan to purchase 2 more for my other rigs after I’ve finished testing this one. Dr. Wayne

The app is garbage
First things first, it does look great and the build quality is pretty good, heavy feeling and does not look or feel cheap. Nice packaging and no damages. The bad. The instructions were on a 3x3 folded piece of high gloss paper that looked like it was screen shot from a computer monitor then printed.. it was blurry and extremely tiny, I had to use my phone camera to zoom in just to make out the words. The app does not work, it tells you to log in as a guest but you do not get the advanced options or access. If you register an account they sell your data per the user agreement, even though it specifically states on the App Store that it does not. The app would not connect to wifi, but in order to upload custom photos or even the stock photos you had to be connected to wifi. The weather would not show my area or any area for that matter it was just a stock photo of a template for the weather app. I tried to navigate the “support” page but there was no help. After reading the reviews I did not trust the app or having it in my house. Returned it the same day. Blasted the app on the App Store review. Don’t buy this.

Cool device, but need to do some tinkering to find what you need it to do
I purchased this as it was a lot cheaper than the alternatives. It might be missing somethings the other ones offer like the detachable tubes and more image modes, but it gets the same aesthetic for cheaper. The biggest confusion was the modes. There's 4 picture modes essentially that you can save and select from the back (Default, first, second, Love). The first 3 modes will do the clock with an image representing 0-9, and the "Love" mode will do static images (0-5). I did not have any issues uploading the images. But there's no way to change the mode on the app, so you'll have to click the button on the back. The image selection on the app is pretty sparse so be prepared to use your own images. To add your own images, go to "Dialplates", and select the images you want from 0 to 9. On the "Select" part, make sure to select the modes I mentioned above. For example if you only want a static image, just add a picture 0-5 then select "Love". Some parts of the image crop on the app is in Chinese, but its basically (Back, Rotate, Done). Overall, it's a pretty nice device if you're an anime fan or like cool looking tech.

Great for creating your own designed tube clock.
As a designer, I absolutely love this clock. I have been having lots of fun developing number faces and uploading them to the clock. It’s so interesting to see how each design completely changes when made real. The interface is not terrible, obviously could be a bit a little bit better but for the price, this is an amazing clock. I bought a second one before I wrote this from you to make sure nothing would sell out :-) I have only had this a few days so if anything changes, I will come back to the review.

Super Cool
The app is a bit buggy, however it does work. May have to try a couple times to get the faces to download & transmit to the display. Uploaded images are not static, eacch image you upload must represent a numerical value between 0-9 in which those values are usd to represent the time. So making custom faces/numbers/images is easy. It only shows the time & available mode to show the weather. Will not show dates or any other information. The weather temperature is reported in celsius which cant be changed to Fahrenheit; perhaps an update will fix this. They recently released an update which seems to be more stable.

Kind of cool. Has potential. weird glitchy app.
This looks cosmetically pretty cool. But this is not an actual nixie tube. It is basically little mini LED type screens. When you power it up, you get some weird photos that show up on the screens. You need to connect it to a glitchy app (at least it is with my iPhone). And it takes a while to get the right time zone. If you power it off, it does not remember anything and you’ve got to reprogram it. It would be ideal to have programming buttons on the back of it like a digital alarm clock. But the fact that you have to connect it to Wi-Fi in order to get it running is suspicious to me.
