I have wide feet due to that i usually get size 10 but if these boots run big should i just settle for a size 9?

I’m usually a size 5.5/6. After reading reviews I ordered a 5 & it fits like a 6.5/7. Wayyyyy too big & so sad I had to return bc they are so cute. But honestly WAY too big. Thick socks won’t even do the trick.

I believe US. I bought it for my family member. She was a size 7. It was more like a size 8. We got a refund and purchased one size down (6) and it fit perfect.
