Corner Shower Shelves 10'', Grout in Shelf, Polished

Love these shower shelves for our rental units. They're a lot cheaper and more functional than building a recessed niche without any of the long-term waterproofing concerns. Seem like great quality. We found the 10" size to be as large as we'd want to go. Any larger seems like it would make a standard tub or smaller shower feel a bit claustrophobic.

Bernkot Corner shelves fit what we wanted in our shower. This is our second purchase. They are brushed nickel in color, sturdy, no rust or breakdown. They were also easy to install by the guy who did the work. We certainly got value for the price. The storage capacity is great. The first pair purchased was a year ago. We were so pleased we ordered them again. Thank you.

I recently installed a new shower, doing the tile work, grouting etc myself. I was reluctant to install an alcove for the possibility it would be a source of water intrusion. I am very happy I decided on this product to provide storage for products in my shower. Simply grout the tiles like you would normally do (my grout lines are 1/16th of an inch and this product worked perfectly). Then while the grout is still curing, insert the stainless steel shelf into the corner grout line, wipe away excess and clean your grout like the manufacturer recommends. Easy! It would also be relatively easy (although not the route I took) to install as an afterthought: simply use a good oscillating multitool with a flat, rounded diamond abrasive tool tip to grind out the grout where you will mount this and apply new grout then insert. Done! No worries about building an alcove.

I manage remodels for a living. I built a new, larger shower, for a client who found making decisions extremely difficult. He was happy with these.

Overall I really liked this item. I used this for a bathroom remodel, my only negative feedback would be the tabs that go into the wall off of the shelf are only like an 1/8th of an inch long and it would really make a big difference if it was an extra 1/8" longer. It comes with a plastic cover to protect the metal but the holes are stamped through the protective plastic as well so when I was grouting the shower some of the grout got in the holes so I ended up spending a decent amount of time getting the holes cleaned up. But other than that it looks fantastic and will make a huge difference for shelf space.

Well made, nice finish, quality stainless not flimsy. Cut 6 short slots in the grout for each shelf using an angle grinder with a 4" diamond wheel. I cleaned the grout and tile where they attach with acetone before applying silicone to ensure a good bond. They stay in place because the weight is on the grout line. I used blue tape on both sides of each shelf and on the tile (above and below) to mask where the silicone goes because it's just too difficult to get a perfect bead. Wiped it in with my finger and then peeled off the tape. Looks fantastic, now I wait 24 hours for the silicone to cure and good to go! Nice product would recommend!
