Dark Tanning Mousse, Natural-Looking Streak-Free Sunless Tanner - 7 Oz

This tanning mousse is a great natural looking tan. No smell and no streaking. Very easy to apply and stays on for days. I recommend the dark tanning mousse. No orange look.

I’ve tried a lot of self-tanners, and this one is easily one of my favorites. The mousse goes on smooth and streak-free, and I love that it has a built-in color guide so I can tell exactly where I’ve applied it. ✨ Color & Finish: The “Dark” shade gave me a natural bronze glow without that orange look that so many other products have. It built up evenly and didn’t look patchy at all once it developed. 👌 Application: I followed the recommended routine (exfoliate before, apply with a mitt, let it develop 6–8 hours) and it blended easily — no weird lines or streaks. Bonus: it dried fast so I didn’t feel sticky while it developed. 🌸 Scent & Feel: There’s a faint, floral scent that isn’t overwhelming, and the texture feels lightweight. 📅 Longevity: My tan lasted about a week with normal showers and daily SPF — just like advertised. Overall, this gave me a natural, sun-kissed look with minimal effort — definitely worth it if you’re aiming for a deep glow! 🌞

First time using Peta Jane tanning products. This stuff smells so good, only self tanner I have actually enjoyed the smell of! So dark with even, non-streaky coverage. For the stickiness I rate it. 9/10. Only spot that feels tacky is inside bend of arms. It really does not transfer once rubbed in and dry.

Had really high expectations for Peta Jane Beauty, especially at this price point—but this was hands down one of the worst self-tanning experiences I’ve ever had. The foam felt incredibly thin, almost like it was mostly air, and the second it touched my skin it completely dried and locked in place. There was zero blend time. I’m talking instant grab—no ability to smooth it out, no glide, nothing. It immediately turned into splotchy, uneven patches that were impossible to fix. I followed every prep step carefully, so this wasn’t user error. The formula just did not perform. The guide color also leaned noticeably orange right away—not a natural bronzy tone. I could already tell before even rinsing that it wasn’t going to develop into the rich, deep, “no orange” tan it claims to give. Honestly, I’ve used $10 self-tanners that performed significantly better than this. At least those allow you time to blend and don’t dry instantly on contact. For a product in the $50 range, I expected a smooth, workable formula—not something that feels unusable from the moment it hits your skin. 📌”Just stick to the inexpensive brands ladies, they seem to be better made.“📌 Very disappointed and genuinely surprised.😳 😢

I put it on while wearing a swimsuit so you could see the color difference. It dries smooth and not sticky, it’s kind of soft even? Smell is good. Natural color

Peta Jane has been my go-to self tanner for almost a year now, and I used to be a die hard Loving Tan fan. Peta Jane is superior in terms of color, application, smell - everything. The foam application is superb, literally no stickiness which is the number one reason I love this tanner. I live in Arizona, it's triple digits for 5 months out of the year - slapping on a thick sticky tanner is the worst feeling. Peta Jane dries almost instantly, I never have issues with the application. The color does not fade for at least 5-7 days (sometimes longer depending on how moisturized skin is etc.). The smell is pleasant and not overbearing, no funky after tan smell. I've tried every self-tanner on the market and this has by far surpassed EVERY self-tan product on the market. The new Ultra Dark is my all-time fave, but Dark is also just as good. You will be beautifully golden bronze, so dark - so perfect. I can't say enough - BUY THIS!!!

This tan applies and immediately dries, making it very hard to blend evenly. Aside from that, once applied, it was a beautiful dark tan but looked natural. I slept in it for 8 hours, rinsed it, and it all went down the drain. Hardly any color stuck to me. Only two stars because it smells less bad than other tans I've had and the application color was pretty, just not the final result. Sad
