The pane of twenty stamps designed by Derry Noyes of Washington, DC, went on nationwide June 14, 2002. The Masters of American Photography Issue honors twenty of our country's most important and influential photographers and includes examples of portrait, documentary, landscape, and fine art photography. Many of the major themes and events in US history, immigration, the Great Depression, and World War II, are captured in these compelling black-and-white stamp art images. Photographers featured: Albert Sands Southworth, Josiah Johnson Hawes, Timothy H. O'Sullivan, Carleton E. Watkins, William Henry Jackson, Gertrude Ksebier, Lewis Wickes Hine, Alvin Langdon Coburn, Edward (Edouard) Steichen, Alfred Stieglitz , Man Ray, Edward Weston, James VanDerZee, Dorthea Lange, Walker Evans, W. Eugene Smith, Paul Strand, Ansel Adams, Imogen Cunningham, Andr Kertsz, Garry Winogrand, Minor White Review: Beautiful stamps. Not a collector but these might change that... - These are GORGEOUS! Each image is clearly printed and on the back there are small biographies of each photographer. The stamps were shipped tightly and securely packed in layers of stiff folders so they arrived in perfect condition (seriously, someone would have to put some effort in to damage them). They arrived much much sooner than projected too which was a huge bonus. The envelope they came in had some pretty awesome stamps on it as well so I'd say Markest should earn extra points for applied advertising AND lastly, there's a Walker Evans stamp in the set. 💙 Review: Very satisfied. - I got my stamps in perfect condition for my collection. ## Features - Warning:This toy does not provide protection - The Imperial Mint: One of the most well-regarded, successful pioneers of innovative Philatelic products in the world. Or are they just collectibles?** A: of course you can. They are also collectibles. Remember the stamps are dark in color not flowery to match a wedding invite envelope. I recommend keep looking in Amazon on postage stamps. Also remember postage just went up 60c per ounce. Besidees the 37cent american photography stamps if you use them you must add an additional 23 cents pr ounce. I recommend take the envelopes to the postal clerk to be weighed and postage you need. **Q: Elsworth Kelly stamps?** A: these are not ellsworth kelly stamps, you would have to search for them with the search button on this or other sites, we don't have them in stock on this site anyways ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful stamps.
