Alba Botanica Acnedote Maximum Strength Invisible Treatment Gel, 0.5 Oz

The Invisible Acne Treatment Gel has been a game-changer in my skincare routine. It goes on completely clear, so it’s perfect for wearing under makeup or throughout the day without anyone noticing. The formula is lightweight, non-sticky, and dries quickly. Within a day or two, I noticed my blemishes shrinking and redness fading. The packaging is clean and easy to use, and a little goes a long way. Overall: A highly effective, gentle spot treatment that delivers visible results while staying totally invisible on the skin.

I have adult cystic acne and white heads along my jaw and cheeks and a little on my forehead. It's deep, painful, looks terrible and has been very difficult to live with, especially as a 37 year old adult, however, I have never had great skin until now. I have countless products along, including prescription oral and topical (retin A, Axzone, antibiotics) with dietary changes with no consistent results and lots of side effects (female infections from antibiotics, dry irritated skin, etc.) I LOVE this spot treatment. I will say that I started using it along with the following changes to my skin care reginment and diet, so it is hard to quantify exactly what has nearly completely cleared my skin up, but I do feel strongly that this does a great job with spot treating. I have had a few minor breakouts (a single simple hear or there) and this GREATLY minimized it immediately and seemed to stunt it's further growth making the process nearly painless and those few pimples did not cause the scarring that previous breakouts would without this topical treatment. If I see so much as an irritated area or if I have extracted a whitehead, I sanitize the area and apply Alba spot treatment. It is always a huge improvement by end of day and I just keep applying until it is gone. I'm including my before and after pics along with the products I am currently using on my face. I do remove my makeup with a variety of different natural makeup wipes, but everything else is shown in the pics. I start my day with 40oz of filtered lemon water and try to drink at least another 40+ ounces a day. I eliminated all flour, sugar, and grain, and I do not eat any processed foods, dairy or meat. I eat a diet rich in fruits, veggies, seeds, coconuts, spiraling, chlorella, hemp powder, raw vegan protein powder, quinoa, & black rice. Unfortunately that did not clear my skin up along. I recently started fermenting veggies and taking more vitamins, minerals, and herbs. I wish I could go into more detail, but there's so much I have done and it would be 10 paragraphs. Can’t tell if it helps, but have repurchased several times now. I like that it’s natural. It does burn for a few minutes, if that’s a concern for anyone, but I like to think it’s just working.

I like this product because it shortens the time of blemishes. Brings them to a head and drys up quickly. It does still when you apply it but I like that it’s clear and I can just put makeup overtop after it drys. I like that it’s clean ingredients.

I purchased the whole alba set the wash, astringent and moisturizer and realize that they sold the gel also. The combo works to keeping my acne in control, but it is no acne cure. What I like about the gel is if I'm having really bad break-out's and I use it it will to get rid of them. Secondly the really big painful ones I get around my chin it keeps them from breaking out or helps heal them up. I also believe that this gel helps remove some of the acne scarring. I will have to find out if my acne is caused by something medical and take something internally, because these type of products work for awhile then they stop.

This a great product for the price. After using it for about 4 days, the cystic acne on my chin and the red bumps on the side of my face slowly went away. The acne spot treatment doesn't clear your skin troubles away instantly but it does speed up the maturation process of the pimple. When I do get cystic acne on my chin, they're ususally there for a week and a half. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast my cystic acne went away and at how the small red bumps on my face didn't get any bigger after applying the acne treatment. You really don't need to apply a lot either. I have tried the Proactive acne treatment after hearing about it from my sister but it didn't help me much. I think that the Alba Botanica one is a better and more affordable option. It is true about what other people have said regarding the stinging sensation after applying the treatment. It did sting the first two nights I used it but I think my skin got used to it.

Worked well on my blemishes within 5 days. I had a bit of that stingy feeling that I expected, but it wasn’t bad.

I get giant breakouts, not the tiny bumps but the deep, red and painful ones. This did nothing for them, maybe even made them more inflamed.

Nada de lo que esperaba.... prácticamente es como no ponerse nada. Tenia uno parecido de Avón que era ponertelo y se iba el granito en una noche....este lo has de usar varios dáas para que minimice el granito... pero no hace nada mas. Bastante decepcionada....sobretodo por su precio, es caro para el efecto que tiene.
