This is a great networking tool. You don't need a second tool when toning out cables because this one also checks continuity. Check for tone with the low impedance setting, get a good hint as to which cable or connection from a bunch is most likely, then test continuity with a flick of the switch to confirm that you have the correct cable.

Don't waste your money. I ordered the toner and probe and it started messing up on the fourth job. The ditital tone didn't work on coax or at the network side. I contacted Fluke and was told they had a bad batch and a replacement was sent. I tested it and it worked but on the third job I turned on the probe and it made a loud awful noise and had to squeeze it to get it to stop. The next day toner and probe worked for about 10 minutes. I received my third one today from fluke and the probe is not working on analog, just makes a loud noise. I thought getting a fluke would be an upgrade boy was I wrong!

Very satisfied. Arrived the next day.Does all it says it will. Great for locating network, and other wires behind walls. Would have given 5 stars if it would be better at pin pointing in close proximity to other wires. Mapping feature is a convenient bonus.
