Before making the purchase, I reviewed complaints from other buyers. Initially, I agreed with the point that the noise could be a bit bothersome. However, after placing a pot on the stove and leaving the room to take a call, I returned and was able to hear the sound, which reminded me to check and turn off the power. Thankfully, I had set it to a low temperature, so there were no issues. Without the sound, I might have forgotten it was on. As for another concern I read, about the stove taking too long to reach a boiling point, my pot didn’t take that long to boil when set to a temperature of over 600. I followed the instructions provided with the stove and, overall, I am happy with how it performs.

As somebody who lives in a motel room, this burner is fantastic. The fans are loud, but it produces very little heat radiation thanks to them. I appreciate the locking feature because I have cats that like to jump on our counter when we're not looking and walk across the kitchen appliances. (And yes, cat paws will turn this burner on, so be careful.) I also really like that the heat stays consistent, and it doesn't shut the heat off halfway through cooking like most other hotplates. This burner is really large, though. We currently keep it on a card table due to its size, and it takes up half the table.

So, here’s the deal: I actually like this CUSIMAX hot plate, but we need to talk about its "speed"—or lack thereof. ​The Good Stuff ​First off, it looks sleek. If you want your countertop to look modern without spending a fortune, this fits the bill. The best part? It’s not picky. Unlike induction burners that demand "special" pans, this one works with whatever you already have in your cupboard. It’s also super easy to wipe down when you’re done. ​The "Waiting Game" ​Now for the reality check: This thing is slow. I’m talking "I could have gone out and bought breakfast" slow. Even for something as basic as frying a couple of eggs, you’re going to be standing there for a while waiting for it to actually get hot.

The ten and a half beeps this emits every time the timer goes off is torture. It's so completely unnecessary. I probably would have kept it if it had been 3 or less but this is so excessive and jarring. Awful!

Does it job and does it great, and looks good doing it. It also super easy to clean!!!, It’s been about 7 months and I hope it continues doing what it do. If I had to be extra critical maybe something like a case, storage bag, cover, or duct cover. But overall zero complaints, it’s great and worth the price without a doubt.

When you get used to it you will love it. It sure gets the job done and is easily cleaned.

Heats nicely …. BUT the VERY LOUD cooling fan that runs during operation (and after shutting off) is obnoxious. Hard to have conversation when this thing is on.

It took 2 hrs to make a soup with a pressure cooker. and still, needs more time. What is going on with the little stoves, they are all useless. Returning it.

Work easy and well

Does what it needs to do. Heats well, and has easy controls. Only downside is the fans run loudly for a while to cool it after use, but then it's better than having it stay hot!!
