I have an old 1999 BMW and have always used the OBD2 connector. A friend told me that I need the round connector so I purchased this one and now I can read even more from the computer than ever before.

Did not work with my obd II machine
Hard to review It will not work with most simple obd II testers

The adapter worked fine however I have scanners that did not support the vehicle year I used this on. So just make sure your scanner supports the year of the vehicle you want to use this with.

Fits and works on 1998 323is
Went to local auto place to get codes. Guy was surprised it worked right away first try. It is just a little loose on the connector as there is not a ring to screw it down, but it gets the job done. Happy with purchase and will keep this in the trunk.
