As a parent, I love what this is a quiet time activity that she can do on her own Or play with her brother, there is no sound to the game or activity making it perfect for quiet time! When playing as a group, we turn it into a fun race to spell as many words as possible based on the dice roll—so many options for play! The game is easy to set up, simple to comprehend, and thoughtfully designed. The build quality is excellent, with durable materials that can stand up to lots of use. The bright, colorful pictures on the cards are a wonderful touch and really help bring the words to life. My 5 year old loves this game! It is fun and educational! The wooden letters and word cards are a higher quality than I expected. However, before playing the game, children should be able to identify most letters.

Multiple ways to use these as a game. Great for sounding out words, using the wood tiles to fill in the missing letter as well as creating a crossword puzzle. My 6 yo grandsons love all the ways to play and their spelling skills and reading skills are improving greatly. Very durable and variety of words they hear all the time and now can read and spell.

I purchased the BenBen Spelling Games set and my daughter absolutely loves it. It’s easy to play, keeps her engaged, and she’s learning at the same time. The flashcards and wooden letters are great quality, and it turns spelling practice into something fun instead of frustrating. The fun lasts for hours and it’s a great learning activity for home. Highly recommend!

There are so many spelling and sight word games that don't keep my children's attention, this is not one of them. My kids played for quite a while and enjoyed having the competition but educational value.

I am a homeschool mom teaching kindergarten. I got this to help teach reading when my son was getting burnt out. It is a fun little game. The cards are colorful and the letter tiles are printed well and clear to read the only problem I have found with those is it is difficult to tell between an “N” and a “Z” but that is minor. I usually let them be whatever my son needs, he is only 6 after all. The game is so fun I got in a game with my 6 year old, and my 15 year old and when my 6 year old quit for some reason my 15 year old son and I finished the game!!! LOL! Definitely worth it for young kids learning to read who need a way to make it fun.

I love this game and can use the cards and letters many other ways to teach your child how to read and spell with this game. Everything is really good quality and my daughter has so much fun playing the game. I highly recommend this game.

I ordered a second for my literacy centres. It would be more epic and research-based if it came in lowercase, with alkonian boxes surrounding each sound, not each letter.
