However what is not clearly explained on the box or in the instructions is that this does not work in fresh water, the sensors need salt or sea water for the proper conductivity to accurately measure the water level , i found out after setting it up , installing the app mounting the control box, sensor control and the pump into the reservoir running it and having the pump time out and the app tell me that the water was still low when i could see that it was where i set it and still showing low when i submerged the sensor, this is when i went on Red Seas site and discovered that it does not work for Fresh water. So i had to send it back...If you have a REEF tank I highly recommend this , if you have fresh water PASS.
