Easy to assemble. Relatively easy to hang. You'll want to be sure and mount/anchor it well. Built as strong as a bone. We used it to hang a heavier grade of black-out lined curtains across a 72' span to cover our sliding doors. Wanted the flexibility of the curtains to be pushed fully from one side to the other - in either direction, so installed void of a middle bracket. Because of the strength of the rod, this was no issue at all. Rod hangs straight with no sag or droop. It looks so natural - not like an oversized or disproportioned diametered rod. The end knobs are pretty plain, but we knew that from picture. It truly looks and works great.
