An actually decent Rustoleum paint!
I used this to clean up thirty year old steel rims from a pickup truck that's had a hard life. The sort of rims that came with chromed plastic hub covers that crumbled away fifteen years ago from sunlight and heat. The pics are of VERY battered rims. One can of this and one can of primer did up five wire-brush scrubbed rims (on the outside faces).Sprays smoothly. Covers wonderfully even with a ridiculously thin layer (when used over their self-etching gray primer, very good spray). This medium-dark metallic shade does pick up the blue sky to a high degree, even when covered over with the related clear spray, so it CAN hint at a metallic blue. It gives a good neutral transition amidst black hubs, charcoal tires, and chromed nuts and trim rings. Good for people who want to just plain clean up their old rims and avoid a clown-car look. New nuts help too.BTW: that Rustoleum self etching spray primer is also a gem. Very good at hiding scratches and rust pits without any sanding at all.

Good rattle cans
Color is rich and has a nice looking sheen t on the finish. Spray cans work well, and seems to be a durable finish.

***Good Paint For What It Is Intended For***
Used 1 of the 2 cans to spray 4 hubcaps on a 2003 Camry LE and it covers very well doing light sprays several times. It sprays a fine glitter mist that when dry is barely perceptible (the glitter that is) and covers well and gives a good overall finish. Yes I would recommend this type wheel paint to plastic wheel covers (hubcaps)

Good color and coverage. Textured finish.
Sprays easily and provides very good coverage without building up. Easy to make sure there are no drips. Color is exactly as I hoped. Metallic deep gray but not too dark. I used slightly more than 1 can to do 4 coats over primer on some 16" wheels. The metallic flakes get everywhere so be sure you mask your area well. The flakes result in a rough textured finish, like low grit sandpaper. If that's not what you want, be sure to put a few coats of clear over top. Will buy again for the next set of wheels I do.

Application
Was not happy at first, I have used VHT in the past and worked great but thought I would try this. It dried too quick and the clear did not shine up and felt rough. What I did figure out was after you put your silver coats on, clear it after 10 min flash time, let that dry and take a grey scotch pad and run it over the wheel, making it dull, then put 2 more clear coats on it. Looks fantastic after that and the sheen is even. Waiting to get the tires put on so I can't give any review on durability, but this is for my toy car anyway.

Nice and easy to use. Spray pattern lays on a nice finish.
I used this clear coat on my badly oxidized steel patio set. Less than 10 minutes later the table looks new and this extra tough formula should work great. Push button is comfortable and the clear coat laid on nice and smooth. Would recommend for things other than wheels.

No Consistency
I could not get a consistent finish out of this paint. Some areas were more glossy and some were more flat. Some areas were darker black than others.Maybe I got some cans that had been sitting in storage for years. Sometimes, the paint would stop spraying, even right after shaking. Gas would still be coming out, but no paint. Also, the paint was almost completely dry just a minute after spraying. When I used this same paint a couple of years ago, it did not dry that fast, and I got a much more consistent finish. On this current project, I've had two failed applications, and I have to sand again. This has become a huge waste of time and money.
