Ladies and gentlemen, I could not program my vehicle remote without the factory remotes. Both of the original ones are 18 years old and no longer working. I came here, reviewed these remotes, purchased them and have them in hand overnight. They come with batteries, and looking over the instructions for 5 minutes, I went to my garage and programmed them both within 30 seconds. I then reset the remote in my car and using one of these remotes, was able to set up the opener within 15 seconds. These are a lifesaver and I put the spare one in my other vehicle. I now have a backup if I ever need it. Trust me when I say, these cost $40 each at a well-known home improvement store. This is the best deal for a great product. A very happy customer.

I bought a pair of the full size remote openers over 2 years ago and they both work great! However, right in the product info it says, "Does NOT work for vehicle homelink training." I didn't understand the importance of that warning before I bought them, if I even read it. So now 2 years later, I just got a newer car with the homelink remote control in the mirror, and I could not program it with the Amazon remotes. My garage door opener is a Liftmaster Pro/Chamberlain chain drive opener, part number: 41AC050-2 , model number: 3265, made in 2007. My model of opener and apparently many others, REQUIRE AN ORIGINAL LIFTMASTER remote control to program a homelink remote in a car. Just like the product info said! duh So if you don't have one, you're going to have to buy or borrow one to program a homelink remote in your car. This the correct handheld remote at least for my opener.

We were out eating at a restaurant and my garage door opener fell out of the vehicle so I needed to get a replacement fast. I ordered this remote and had the option to get 2 at a cheaper cost, so I did. It arrived overnight and was so easy to program. It worked on the first try. The size and appearance of this garage door opener is the same as my other opener The durability is amazing. I have it in my jeep and have dropped it a few times and it still works perfectly. The buttons work perfectly and and do not stick. I will definately order this one again if I need to.

The garage door opener remotes replacement for 983LM 893Max work great. They were easy to program. They were compatible with our LiftMaster garage door openers. They were simple to pair. The instructions were very easy to follow. We had purchased a new SUV and were having trouble programming it to our garage door opener. I reset the opener and then could not get the pld remote or opener to work with either of our SUV’s or our additional car. I purchased this pair of remotes and by an hour after their arrival, everything was working perfectly for all three vehicles. This set of remotes is a good value for the money.

Reliable, Affordable, and Easy to Program I’ve been using these remotes for a few months now, and they work just as well as the original LiftMaster remotes that came with my garage doors. Programming was quick and straightforward—just make sure to check the model number on your garage door opener before ordering so you get the right match. I was able to set up both of my garage doors on each remote without any issues. Performance-wise, they’re solid. The range is about 25–30 yards, which is more than enough for my driveway. They don’t reach as far as the built-in car remote, but they respond reliably within a reasonable distance. The only downside is the visor clip: like most garage remotes, it can slide off the hook if it gets bumped. It would’ve been nice if there were a way to secure it more firmly, but it hasn’t been a dealbreaker. Each remote comes with a battery included, so they’re ready to go right out of the box. Overall, these have been a great replacement—dependable, easy to use, and much more affordable than buying directly from the manufacturer.

Programmed successfully on the first try. Working like a charm

I purchased this two-pack of garage door remotes hoping for an inexpensive solution for vehicles that don't have built-in garage door openers. Unfortunately, they turned out to be a complete disappointment. The biggest issue is reliability. One remote never worked at all right out of the box, while the second only functioned for about a month before it stopped working completely. Even when it did work, I had to stand extremely close to the garage door and press the button several times before it would respond. That completely defeats the purpose of having a remote opener. Programming the remotes was another frustrating experience. I carefully followed the included instructions multiple times and even had someone help me to make sure I wasn't missing a step. Despite that, I couldn't get either remote to properly sync with my Chamberlain garage door opener. After spending far more time troubleshooting than I should have, I eventually gave up. The overall build quality is also very poor. The plastic housing feels thin, flimsy, and more like a cheap toy than a product designed for everyday use. It doesn't inspire confidence that it will last very long, and based on my experience, it didn't. To make matters worse, one of the remotes was defective from the beginning, and by the time I realized how unreliable they were, I had already missed the return window. Instead of saving money, I ended up having to buy a better-quality replacement from a local hardware store, which worked immediately without any issues. Overall, these remotes were a complete waste of money. Between the poor construction, unreliable operation, compatibility problems, and defective units, I cannot recommend them. Spending a little more on a quality remote from a trusted brand will save you time, frustration, and money in the long run.
