Q: they work amazing but unfortunately I lost one of them is there a way to deactivate or make it so if found it wouldn’t work?

You will need to erase all codes on garage motor unit. 1. Locate the LEARN button on the garage door opener. 2. Press and hold the LEARN button on the door control until the LED turns off (approximately 6 seconds). 3. All previous codes are now erased. You will need to reprogram each remote control and keypad you wish to use.

Q: Is anyone know why I have to keep reprogramming it every 4 or 5 days? It will work for a while and then just stop

I have had mine several months now and they have worked fine. I hope you find an answer. I may have the similar problem later on.
