Touch Up Paint For Rim(Opal White), Car Wheel Paint Touch Up Pen

Painted a bunch of small dots on my Rubik's Cube. This paint is excellent for art projects as well as appliance and automotive touch up. Takes a few bumps on the tip to get the paint flow started from the ball point pen then very accurate. I have also used the pen on my refrigerator door and the brush for an automotive touch up. Paint levels well and dries hard. I will buy another when I use this one up.

It covered up somehow chips but was too white. Not matching color code 268A well.

I wasn't familiar with this type of applicator and the instructions were of no use (they actually said to use a brush to apply the paint), but I tried it on a disposable piece of card stock and figured out when you push the needle point onto something hard enough, the tip depresses and paint comes out. A very small amount in fact, which was perfect for the little touch up spot I was doing, about half the size of my pinky nail. So I just dotted some paint onto that area and left it about 30 minutes before telling my wife to check it (it's her car) and she said she couldn't see where I did the touch up. So for minor touch up, this is good. The white nearly matches the VW's color, at least to the point you don't notice it. The instructions say that after it cures (I think it said 24 hrs, can't remember), to sand it with 600 grit paper and apply a clear coat. When I first put the paint on, while it was still wet, I thought it looked a little flat, so a clear coat would help with that, but I'm not going to bother for such a small spot. Now, if you had a big area to do, say the size of a quarter or bigger, I don't know how you'd get the paint out of this tube, since they say to use a brush. The top might twist off but I couldn't do it by hand, so maybe some pliers are needed. Then you could get a little brush down in there. The top it comes with has a slotted end on it as if you would use that to draw a fat line of paint, but I don't know how you'd get the paint to flow into that top in order to do that. Maybe you just remove the needle tip somehow, but there's no instructions explaining any of that. Generally I'm happy with it and the price. If the instructions were more comprehensive I would give it 5 stars but 4 since there's some guesswork involved in using this.

Very useful product. The paint still lasts even after 4th car wash. Painted area will noticed only very near to car. But it's worth of money for the item

This is the worst touch up paint I have very used. It was like putting milk on the car! DO NOT BUY

Absolute garbage, this may work on the paper to delete the ink, but is too liquid and cannot be used on a car, that otherwise will look even worse
