This is a fabulous hair piece and matched my hair perfectly! Easy to use and stayed in all night!

Originally purchased in 2017. I am now coming back for a new one. I tend to wear this when i am pushed for time and want a quick updo. I have had comments on several occasions by girl friends, being surprised i styled/curled my hair so quickly. They didn't realise it wasn't my real hair. You can probably tell more so nowadays, since i have silver grays coming through. Luckily it tends to be at the sides of my head, so i can get away with it (for now). It's literally fake hair on a bobble. But i just bunch my own hair into a bun and then twist this round it twice. Pin it all round and it stays in all night. If i had more hair i would probably pull pieces out and style to look fuller. But i don't have much hair. It's baby hair. Super fine. That's why i bought it in the first place to make it look like i have hair/more than a few whisps. I am leaving a review now cos it has started to look tatty/frizzy. So I am coming back for a new one. But i mean you can not complain at that price. Lasting for that long. Another commenter doubles them up to give a fuller effect. I may try that once i have the new one. I have taken care of it, cleaning it with conditioner, fingering the curls though and leaving it to air dry. Do not brush it you will ruin it. Be gentle. It has lasted until now. Which is absolutely, amazing value. It is kept in a satin pouch when not in use. I could probably get away with using it a smidge longer, but it looks frizzy up close now. So time for a new one. Again no complaints. Just general wear and tear from being pinned. I have zero complaints. Amazing value and I have been super happy and used it regularly over the years. If you can find the right colour match, you'll be happy. It took me two attempts initially. But returns and reordering went fine. Take care of it and it will last a long time.

This Prettyshop synthetic hair scrunchie is definitely one of the better ones I’ve seen, the hair does look real with a nice natural shine and well stitched in that hasn’t shed even though I’ve washed it twice. The curls stay in place too and it isn’t frizzy. This one I ordered is ‘grey with blonde’, however, I’d describe it as dark ash blonde with no real grey in it. My hair is naturally salt and pepper grey, with dark and light grey in it with still quite a bit of dark blonde/blorange left in my lengths (hidden here under the scrunchie). I thought this would be ideal to look more one colour than several, but matching salt and pepper hair is seemingly almost impossible. I will say this scrunchie hid my very long thick hair very well, there’s a generous amount of hair on it. I was also impressed to see how easily it dried after washing it with purple shampoo, still looking as new. The purple shampoo didn’t change it’s colour I’m sad to say, but as it’s synthetic I guess that’s not surprising but worth a try. I’d definitely recommend it, just pick your colour carefully.

I would have rated this higher but...it was a little too streaked when I was expecting a consistent colour and....it fell off somewhere in the local area! I didn't even feel it go. Given that it's like an ordinary scrunchie, but made of hair (!) and I've never lost an ordinary scrunchie before, I was very surprised. Perhaps the mistake I made was I had an elastic hair band underneath it, if I had only been using this then I would have noticed it coming off. Convinced everyone though, no one realised it wasn't my hair. Item received very quickly, good professional seller. Not sure if I can be bothered to buy again, but needs pins to secure, can't be used as a scrunchie alone.

Best messy bun that I’ve purchased and I’ve had a few. I just ordered a second one as the first one was a little dark, still ok and looked good but dark brown possibly a better colour match for me. This item is so easy to use and very convenient when in a rush. I’ve had the last one for months and it still looks so good no frizz etc. 10/10 am buying again :-)

This messy bun extension was so easy to use. I wrapped it around a low bun and secured with bobby pins and it fit well and stayed put all night. The hair is very soft and the curls hold well, it’s not too heavy so stays put! A super easy way to transform your hair style for those with short or thin hair. The colour match was also great.

This is an amazing product and so easy to use. Just put your hair up in a ponytail as high as you can at the back of your head and double into a bun. Stretch the scrunchie and pop it over the bun, tease over a few curls, et voila! Instant updo. If you have long hair, or for a fuller effect, buy two, and if you have dip dyed hair, (or wish you did) get one in each colour. I tried these out on the day I received them and I kid you not, the lady behind me at the supermarket checkout, a total stranger, said what a lovely hairdo I had and did I do it myself. With the weight of your own hair and the extensions it is quite heavy, so make sure it is securely fastened, and of course it works better on unwashed hair as the scrunchies are less likely to ping off! I guess you could pin them in or spray them. The hair is quite glossy, and the colours I bought were very straight dyed, not like natural variation, but as my hair is dyed it didn't matter. If your hair has variations in colour you might want to get two close colours and tease one through the other for a more natural effect. What will they think of next?

I wanted an easy to do hair look while I am growing out my hair. It is currently just above the shoulders and I can pull it back into a small ponytail, These things are great. It is easy to use, stays in my hair, and looks real. The hair is soft and feels real, not shiny. My husband and sons didn't even notice (My teenage daughter was a bit skeptical, but came around when I got the color to match) I ordered 3 different colors to test in my dark brown hair (I have very few highlights that are a lighter chocolate brown - not reddish). The color brown9 was perfect. This bun was more curly than messy and my hair is pretty straight. The color Brown 8B was a bit more auburn - or dark brown with reddish hints. I loved the Messy look of this one not so curly with straighter ends. The color Brown G4A 8 was the darkest brown with no real variations, I would say more of a black-brown. I kept the Brown 9 despite the curl and am going to look for the same color in a straighter look.

I had purchased 2 86a/613 g28a is 5 stars but the 86ah613 mix, the mix had too much of the darker blonde than i would like, thank goodness i ordered the first one, the second i won't use
