Review: Good stuff. - Someone asked about hardness of these snacks. They vary from very soft to medium hard. Our cars love them. My wife says I give them too much but they eat them all up. (Obviously I am talking about the cat treats, not the dog treats. We have no dogs.)

I have started crushing these hard snacks in a small electric coffee/seed grinder & sprinkling a very tiny amount of the resultant powdered snack on their canned cat food if they will not eat. Works like magic. They also love the turkey & chicken treats so I do the same thing with them as fish too often is not really good for cats. A bag lasts a long time when used for this purpose as you really do need only a tiny bit on the food to get the cats to eat. (They have a great sense of smell & they really think they love even their not so preferred foods with a tiny sprinkling of this on top.) I also like that these are 100% human-grade real fish (or meat.)

**Q: Are dog and cat salmon treats the same? I’m wanting smaller treat for my dog? Also do these need to be stored in refrigerator after opening?**
A: I'm not sure if these are for cats as well as dogs.  Since they're freeze-dried salmon; I wouldn't think there would be a difference.  These don't need to be stored in the refrigerator after opening.  The bag has a snap closing.  My dog likes small bites; so I tend to cut the treats into smaller pieces.  They do crumble a bit and I actually sprinkle the dust/crumbs on his food as well.

**Q: Anyone know why the cost of the 8 oz freeze dried salmon bag went up $10 in the past week or so?  Was $26.  Now $36. Ouch.**
A: Where did you get WHOLE LIFE that cheap?  I've been paying over $30, for more than a year.

A: Have never had dark running through them. Maybe they are drying them with the skin on now? But mine have never came that way.

**Q: I've been getting these forever, but the came in a different package this time- a silver bag with a poorly printed label. Making sure it's the same?**
A: I also have been buying this for my cat for years. I have received it in a silver bag before as well. I think they packaged it this way for a short time but for some reason went back to the original. Make sure you check the expiration date. I haven't seen it in that silver bag in a long time. It could be old & expired. If not, I can assure you, it was packaged in this silver bag for a time.
