I’m installing these in my garage and have no complaints. They show green, though the red flickers occasionally. I think that’s to get my attention. I wired most of them up, but had an electrician help sort out any problems. His gfi install does like mine, so I feel I did them right.

I needed to replace several outdated GFCI outlets across my rental properties, and this 10-pack from ELECTECK was perfect. The price is hard to beat for the quality you get. Each outlet came individually boxed with clear instructions and the necessary wall plates. Installation was simple if you have basic electrical knowledge. They tested perfectly and reset without any issues. It’s been a few months now and they’re all working like they should—no false trips or loose connections. Definitely a great value if you’re upgrading multiple outlets or working on a remodel. I’ll be buying these again when I need more!

It is pretty difficult to mount into an older house with metal boxes. You might consider replacing the box with a lager OLD work box to make room for this and the wires.

I use it every day. At my job, instead of buying an expensive GFCI outlet at a store, I prefer these because they are economical and of good quality. I've bought more than 5 boxes.

I installed a few of these in my house before, only had an issue with one. I loosened the screw out of one a little too much and was not able to get back in. I’d figured, it was my error. I did like the easy to follow directions and the safety features. So I was replacing just one outlet this time, fitted it in and it would not reset. I have a house with old wires, threaded cover. I assumed I goofed. Over all, after attempting a few different things I chalked up to it being defective. I came here to see some of the other reviews and found out that there is a good “miss” ratio with this brand. My conclusion, it works fine if you get a good one, but there is a decent chance you get a dud that will leave you confounded. If you order this, follow the steps to a “T” and it still doesn’t work, it’s the product, not you. Buyer beware.
