awesome, but not for everychair
its great. even though its not for my gaming chair, i was able to make it work. I did change one thing, and I like to make a suggestion. The bolts that hold the joystick mount to the frame mounted on the chair, instead of a bolt I used a pin so if i dont need to use the joystick i can easily remove it instead of a bolt

Good but keep space in mind
Great but not for tight spaces, ive put a hole in my wall since my desk is located in the corner.

For amateur / starter hobbyists
The mounting brackets do not match every chair but with a little (or a lot depending on how crafty you are) work you can get these to attach to any chair and I would assume it comes with an assortment of screws for that very reason. Once installed (even with custom bracing attached) the arms do not fully stabilize (I tried this on two new and one old chair). I fully expected a little movement but not half an inch in any 'pull' direction. If they would add another set of metal brackets to the bottom to dual brace it to the chair, this might work better but it would not solve the destabilization at the top of the arms.I cannot recommend this product to any simulator enthusiasts but if you're looking to get a feel for how it 'could' be, this is a decent buy. I would however wait for a sale.

Flexes a lot when using the throttle quadrant of the X56 hotas.
Very flimsy, does not work well with the X56 Hotas. Seems to lack some strength engineering. Cool idea just poor execution.

Wrong piece
I ordered it and everything is great except I received 2 of the same side larger square pieces that mount to the chair are the same so the quick release screw faces the front on the left side if sitting on the chair

Very unstable, wobbly.
Took some time to put together correctly, and even after installation I had to get VERY creative to mount my Thrustmaster HOTAS X, although I do have a very old 1st Generation Model. I upgraded to a Logitech X56 HOTAS and at first I was angry because it couldn't mount to the plates I'd used, then I discovered it needed the large sliders installed instead. At this point, I can't remember for the life of me where I put my extra hardware, but I opted to buy desk mounts instead, and here's why:- The cabling between many Throttle/Joysticks will run across your lap, forcing you to completely remove both Throttle and Stick before getting out of your chair.... EVERY TIME you get out of your chair, unless you want to climb out and over everything. I don't.- No matter what you do, the gap between the metal pieces is at least 1/16th of an inch, possibly more, and this causes a great deal of wobble. There does not seem to be a way to correct these, as even with 2 bolts installed on each side, it STILL wobbles an annoying amount, so instead of making stick adjustments, you just move the entire mount, and your plane doesn't move, which makes fine aiming impossible. This technically functions, and if there were nothing better, I'd say go for it, but the desk mounts are actually cheaper, and more effective. There's no reason I can think of to buy this item instead of desk mounts.

Decent product
Decent product. Made from pretty heavy metal. The paint comes off easily when bolting it down. Fits most chairs. I don't like how it doesn't line up to any of the mount holes for the X52. They expect you to force a bolt into the screw sockets that hold the throttle and the flight stick together. I do wish they would sit a little taller, but it works and is mostly comfortable.
