d'alba Piedmont White Truffle Intensive Volufiline Grinding Cream (1.59 oz)

I've already tried the truffle facial spray from this brand and I absolutely love it! It provides a lovely Dewey finish to my skin after applying makeup and is super hydrating as well- it has become my more affordable replacement for the Caudalie beauty elixr. That being said, I had some pretty high hopes for this white truffle volufiline cream and it does not disappoint!! I absolutely love the delivery system, it allows you to grind just the perfect amount for each use, and comes with a rubber spatula like applicator to keep things hygienic! The moisturizer itself does not seem to have much of a fragrance, if any it's just very light and dissipates quickly. It's not greasy at all and leaves your skin looking plump, supple, and hydrated! After a few days of consistent use I've noticed some reduction in my fine lines and wrinkles so to say I am pleased is an understatement! Definitely worth every penny, I managed to grab this while it was on sale but even at regular price it's still way more affordable than a lot of luxury name brand products that deliver the same results.

Waited a while to write this. Hate reviews written 5 minutes after trying a product! This is in no way going to replace any wrinkle relaxers or fillers and it is NOT going to make you glow but it IS a NICE moisturizer for being in the affordable catagory! The scent is light citrus that DOES go away after an hour without giving me a splitting headache! It IS, thick and luxe, absorbes but doesn't vanish, is a great heavy duty night cream that DOES produce some results! I find that over a month or two now..of embarrassingly random use...it does indeed lightly plump the surface of my skin and moisturize it WELL. I have put it on the backs of my hands too, works great there! Have to say it surprised me...I'm a TOTAL skin care snob so my expectations were LOW! The only thing I can't report on is use under makeup. It just hit me as a night thing. It's also LOVELY on the neck and chest and does not pill!! I have super dry skin and this is a welcome relief for that! The interesting twist top dispensing is nice and controlled...what happens at the bottom of the tub remains to be seen. The "brush" is actually a clever little silicone applicator but you still need to get in there with your fingers to smooth this ALL over your face and then do the final press into your skin. It did make me want to try more products in the line, they've been equally nice. IF you are not one who enjoys a heavy duty almost sticky moisturiser...then look for a lighter lotion....this stuff does the HEAVY lifting and my dry skin LOVES it!

I loooooove this face cream!! It makes my face feel and look way better since first time I used it!! I love the fragrance and the texture. It’s really lightweight. The right humectants for fine lines and combo skin. It comes with a little spatula so you don’t contaminate the product. The dispenser is perfect so you won’t be wasting product. A little bit goes a long way. I will be reordering this soon.

The cream is nice and moisturizing. It feels velvety, not greasy on your skin. I’m not to sure it works like others says. Some have said it’s like a magical Botox cream which eliminates wrinkles. I have not seen any difference. The container is not a good design. The twist cap to get the cream out doesn’t let you see how much cream is left. Therefore, you don’t know how much cream you have used. I purchased this 1 month & 10 days ago. I have only been using it at night before bed and it’s finished. I will not be buying it again unless the design changes.

This is the third product from this line that I’ve picked up. I find that this is an excellent moisturizer. I am 47 with skin that leans dry. I fell in love with the Aromatic First Serum Spray, first (I’m on bottle 2) so I decided to try their serum stick balm and because the results were so great, I picked this up too. So far, I’m finding it does exactly what it claims. The “grinder” is innovative because the product stays closed and you turn it to release as little or as much of the product that you want. The little spatula that came with it is a wonderful touch, I use it to scoop up the product then rub it in with my hands. It keeps everything nice and sterile and keeps air out so the product doesn’t dry out. At first it feels like a thick moisturizer but it spreads and absorbs in like a dream. It is not greasy at all but it does leave a beautiful glow to the skin. The serum stick balm is a little heavier so I only use that under my eyes and places where I’m super dry. I’m calling these three products my “holy skincare trinity”. I already see a difference in my skin and I’m loving it. I think if you’re oily or have combination skin you could use this moisturizer as a night cream. It’s proprietary ingredient is called “Volufiline” and I did a little research, it was created to give instant plumping for lines and crinkles. I feel it does give instant volume & my lines are less noticeable especially in the 11’s. It’s not been long enough for me to confirm it’s efficacy long-term, however, I am seeing very good improvement in my skin, I’m so happy with this product & the other 2 from this brand. I’ve had several people ask me what I’m doing to my skin. I cannot express how good it feels to look in the mirror and see the face I thought was gone for good. IMHO the price point is excellent and I’ve had much better results with this line than I have with products I’ve spent 3x’s as much on (Shiseido and Dermalogica) I will come back and update once I’ve used the entire jar. As of right now, I will definitely repurchase this particular product.

I went into this with high expectations because I’ve been actively testing Volufiline-based products, and on paper this sounds like one of the stronger options. It’s also made by Kolmar, which is a top-tier Korean manufacturer, so I expected a more targeted, performance-driven formula. That’s not really what this is. This is first and foremost a rich barrier cream, not a true volumizing or corrective treatment. And once you understand that, the formula makes a lot more sense. Formula & Ingredients The base is heavily built around silicones (like phenyl trimethicone, vinyl dimethicone) and emollient oils, which give that immediate smoothing, soft-focus effect on the skin. You also have glycerin, butylene glycol, and hyaluronic acid forms for hydration, plus niacinamide and adenosine for general skin support. There are some nice supporting ingredients: * Ceramide NP for barrier repair * Tocopherol (vitamin E) for antioxidant support * Collagen extract + plant extracts for conditioning But none of these are doing heavy corrective lifting. They’re supportive, not transformative. Now let’s talk about the main selling point — Volufiline. This is not pure Volufiline. It’s part of a blended system, and based on placement in the ingredient list, it’s not present at a level that’s going to deliver the kind of visible volume or structural change people expect from dedicated Volufiline treatments. Texture & Performance This is where it actually performs well. It feels rich, smoothing, and very cushioning on the skin. It locks in moisture, softens fine lines temporarily, and gives that “comfortable, protected” finish — especially nice if your skin is dry or compromised. But that effect is cosmetic and surface-level. It’s not rebuilding volume or creating long-term structural change. Nut Oils & Sensitivity Note This formula includes multiple plant oils, including macadamia seed oil and other emollient oils. If you have nut allergies or sensitivities (especially to macadamia), this is something to be aware of. Even if tolerated, it does make this a heavier, more occlusive formula, which may not suit everyone. Setting Expectations This is not a treatment product in the way it’s marketed. * It will not replace targeted Volufiline serums * It will not create real volume or contour change * It will not act as a corrective anti-aging product What it will do is: * Support the barrier * Improve skin comfort * Give a smoother, more hydrated appearance Overall I don’t think this is a bad product — it’s just misleadingly positioned. If you approach it as a luxury barrier cream with a nice finish, it’s perfectly fine. If you’re buying it for Volufiline-driven volume or real correction, it’s going to fall short. For me, it’s a 3-star: well-formulated from a stability standpoint, but not delivering on what it implies.

Very nice cream, leaves your skin moisturized. I have sensitive skin and I have had no irritation at all. I’m not sure about any plumping effect but the cream does feel good on your skin.

Had absolutely no problem with twisting to dispense product. It's actually a great idea, not for cleanliness (cuz it will do nothing for that), but for ensuring you don't use too much. This stuff is so luxurious, felt so amazing, and disappeared into my skin almost immediately. Not greasy. Not oily. Felt wonderful and soft. Long term results will need time, but I love this stuff.

I’ve only just received and used mine twice but I’m obsessed already. The grinding aspect of it is genius- no cream under your fingernails! The applicator is silicon and glides it on like a dream. The cream itself is thick, but absorbs very well. It has a light orange scent, not overpowering. If you have super oily skin it may be a bit much for you though. My forehead has been incredibly dry and itchy lately and this has helped heaps already in such a short time. My skin feels velvety after applying it. Not sticky, but you can feel it. So so so soft. There’s a light glow too, which is lovely. The quality of the packaging and thickness of the cream is pretty luxe, I highly recommend it.

The best face cream! It firms and plumps up the skin to diminish fine lines. I love the hygienic container, you never touch the cream only what you need comes out. The silicone brush to apply is my absolute favourite, it works so well and it is gentle on your skin.

I absolutely love the hygienic grinding dispenser and the rich texture of this cream. It melts into the skin, providing long-lasting hydration without feeling heavy. My skin feels softer, firmer, and looks more plump after consistent use. It's especially great as a nighttime moisturizer, and I wake up with smooth, healthy-looking skin.
