Amazing book
I have been following Lydia since the very beginning. Congratulations Lydia and well done! This book cover is stunning and the illustrations are beautiful. As I delved into its pages, I found myself reconnecting with nature and rediscovering the power of living in the present moment. From the very first chapter, the author's words resonated deeply within me. In a world that often feels chaotic and fast-paced, this book served as a gentle reminder to slow down, take a breath, and appreciate the smaller things in life. The author's emphasis on soaking up the small details and simply looking around us struck a chord within me, prompting me to reevaluate my own priorities and reconnect with the world around me. What sets this book apart is its profound connection to nature. As someone who finds solace and strength in the natural world, I was delighted to discover that the author shared this sentiment. Their vivid descriptions of the beauty found in nature reminded me of the healing power it possesses. Through their words, I was encouraged to spend more time outdoors, to immerse myself in the sights, sounds, and scents of the natural world, and to allow it to guide me through both the good and the bad times. The author's guidance on cultivating resilience through mindfulness and embracing the present moment allowed me to develop a deeper sense of self-awareness, self love and appreciation for the world around me. These exercises served as gentle reminders to slow down, to be present, and to find joy in the simplest of things. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone seeking inspiration, guidance, and a renewed sense of resilience. Whether you are navigating through challenging times or simply looking to reconnect with the beauty of life and the seasons, EVERGREEN will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on you. Embrace its wisdom and slow down just a little. Oh and if you love food there are some lovely recipes inside.

A truly insightful read.
A truly emotive read. I hoped that this book would help me to embrace every season of my life both metaphorically and literally. I chose to take a year to read this so I could truly take the time to cultivate the things that were important in my life according to the actual season and my season of life. Something's were more appropriate than others for the first read through, some thing's will no doubt be more appropriate further down the line as I intend to use this book as a reminder to stay true to myself. I used to believe that I had to be what everyone else was or be on trend. However reading this book gave me the courage to welcome what I enjoy and dance to the beat of my own drum without the worry of being accepted. If you're ready to accept yourself as you are then this is the book for you.

Good self help guide
I’ve enjoyed reading this book. There are lots of useful self help tips, written based on the 4 seasons and the author’s own life experience. I’m sure I’ll continue to refer back to the advice in the future.

Beautiful, inside and out.
I am never one for actual reading, I love audio books. The cover of this and the sheer Lydia-esce style of the hardback is what made me buy the hard copy. I thought ‘for show’ then I could get the audio book too as she has the most soothing voice. The book is simply so stunning from the very first page, her thoughts so intriguing, I cannot get this book out of my hands. I have even invested in reading lights to aid me further on this new venture of actual reading, and I think it has opened a door for me into a world I did not know I was missing out on. Her ideology of intertwining nature into every day practices including thought processes is one I resonate with on a true personal level. In the book Lydia encourages you to get outside and be in nature, she has also in fact encouraged me to create a corner of the world inside just for me. So for that, I say thank you. For making me fall I love with reading, outside, and even inside once again. A stunning read, go and buy this book. Ps I will still be purchasing the audio copy to engulf my long car journeys with these warm words so exquisitely written by Lydia.

I absolutely loved this book and it has become such a source of inspiration. It has been a truly lovely way of re-connecting with the seasons, nature, the little things in life and with myself. The book cover is absolutely stunning and as I turned the pages the words and illustrations were so beautiful. From the very first chapter, Lydia's words deeply resonated with me. In a world that has been stressful and hectic of late, her words were a gentle remined for me to take a breath, slow down and appreciate the seasons in all their beauty and wonder. This book has helped me immensely in prompting me to re-evaluate my priorities and to reconnect with myself. Lydia's story and the book's profound connection to nature really sets this book apart and I have been encourage to spend more time outdoors. I took Lydia's advice and invested in a good pair of walking boots! Now, I'm out in all weather, come rain or shine.... Overall, this book has helped to ground me, offered me solace and through the natural world has given me this sense of peace. Let the seasons and nature be my guiding compass through the good and the bad times. Cheap messy printing
I ordered this book as I love pretty books for display and heard good reviews on the actual book. Haven’t started reading yet as I just received it but the actual book presentation on the cover is a mess!! I’ve never received a book like this, I was really surprised. The font looks like it’s bled over the lines and too chunky. Sent it back for a exchange so hopefully it’s a one off but not what I expected. I know it’s just a cover and you obviously want the contents, but books like this I love to display and this is not one I want to display.

Inspiring Book - Surviving & thriving through all the seasons of life by Lydia
Congratulations Lydia - I couldn't put this book down! Yesterday I collected my Evergreen book from Waterstones a day before the official release and last night I wasn’t able to put the book down, it is FANTASTIC! Better than I ever expected and I already had high expectations. I have also ordered the audio version on Audible to listen to while walking. Lydia pours everything into the book about her own personal experiences and how walking in nature has really helped her survive and thrive. I have been following Lydia's journey since the early days of her YouTube channel and I first stumbled upon her fashion content after my sister had passed away. In times of grief Lydia's content was a source of inspiration and comfort, she wasn’t just sharing her style tips but also much of her life which is no easy task. Over the years Lydia's style, content and tastes have evolved and continued to inspire me especially the seasonal content which she shares in this book. I have seen Lydia go through much controversy, hate and online bullying over the years and found it horrendous and often wondered how Lydia coped through it all. I recently read Steven Bartlett's book Diary of a CEO and he says something along the lines of 80% of people won't like you and 20% will and that is ok. You have to stand for what you believe in and won't please everyone and that’s a good thing. The book is a triumph and a true walk with Lydia through the seasons as she offers advice on how to live your best life, take inspiration from your surroundings and thrive through the highs and the lows. What a marvellous read and even the lady on the counter in Waterstones said - wow that is a pretty book! Buy it!!! Lydia I am already awaiting your next book - Thank you for sharing your journey and wisdom with us.

A powerful message with simple easy to follow ideas and strong advice.
This book is a gem. I have not been a fan of Lydia for long and I don’t agree with all she does but her evergreen philosophy got me curious after a friend who is as skeptical as I am -especially of influencers told me another and showed me this book. I thought the book was beautiful and it is. The illustrations alone are worth the purchase. But then I started reading it and was gripped. Then I started listening to the audiobook and I was done in a day. It’s truly amazing the way Lydia speaks so well and articulates her ideas on being strong , resilient and choosing peace and the present moment above all else. She is not all about choosing joy but goes into grief , loss, despair , a lot of emotions that she has felt too and ideas on how to move forward and get through things by looking at nature as a guide. Constantly shedding and evolving and looking around your environment for inspiration. I have come to this conclusion myself after an unwanted life change was forced upon me, and nature walks and getting around being in nature was truly my only salvation and healing. So I can 1000% relate to what Lydia talks about in this book. She shares her darkest moments and journeys and failures too. It’s very vulnerable of her as she has been put through the wringer online. I highly recommend this book. It’s easy to read/ listen to and very relevant for anyone in any situation who wants to lead a life with purpose and meaning while caring and respecting nature around us. I have zero tolerance for influencers but Lydia has definitely won a place in my life. She’s genuine and different and is living her life unapologetically.

Lovely book, lovely gift
I’ve followed Lydia on social media for several years, and her work has been a meaningful companion in my own journey of self-rediscovery. Through her posts, she beautifully intertwines the rhythms of nature with the seasons of life, and her book Evergreen feels like a natural extension of that connection. It’s a work that invites you to pause, reflect, and find joy in the small, fleeting moments that make up everyday life. Evergreen isn’t necessarily a book to rush through from cover to cover — it’s one to return to over time, opening to a random page and finding exactly the words you need that day. Beyond its thoughtful writing, it’s a truly stunning book inside and out. I’ve loved it so much that I’m gifting copies to four friends this holiday season. It’s a book that sparks joy, inspires gratitude for every phase of life, and reminds us to romanticize even the simplest parts of our daily routines.
